  1. Would be quite hard to do this otherwise I think; unless you somehow manage to use those new mini turntables (99009 + 99010) as bucket arm pivots and route the axles through them. This would be a lot bulkier though, I think.
  2. I tore down the original 42009 almost immediately before building the ultimate 42009, the original is that disappointing imo.
  3. Obviously tried Bricklink, I don't think they are aware of the new mold yet.
  4. Anyone know if there is any way of obtaining these new rims, aside from ordering new copies of 42000/9398?
  5. Just wondering, what are you building?
  6. Time for a dedicated Lego display room
  7. Yes, but that introduces a LOT of backlash! And that's what he's trying to avoid ;-)
  8. Yeah, but that's 4L isn't it.
  9. I'm really curious about this 6L solution without backlash!
  10. I've been thinking a bit, and I really can't come up with anything. So either you have to start gluing, or settle for 4L ;-)
  11. basebrick.com is also really useful for managing your parts collection.
  12. Order them on Bricklink like I did? They're not that expensive :) Alternatively, buy the 42006 set - it's good!
  13. To clarify, I'm not pissed off at people who bought 2 at S@H. I'm annoyed by the speculators who bought like 20+, to sell on eBay for hugely inflated prices. I really hope Lego produces more sets, just to piss those guys off.
  14. Nice MOC! Like the use of pneumatics for the outriggers. Have you considered using the 'Grabber Arm Claw' of 42006 for the claw? Or are they too small?
  15. Jetty's :) But sardo's pretty nice as well! F40 is one my favorite supercars of all time :)
  16. I was thinking more like a topic in which particularly high quality MOCs were listed, with a picture and a link to the creator's website/instructions. I guess it never existed.
  17. *Raises hand Anyway, I hope Lego will produce some more soon, I'm not going to pay these #$@#$@ who are hoarding this set.
  18. Stunning, just like the real thing. Love the use of chrome as well, certainly not overkill. 8 kg is quite some weight, what motors did you use for the propulsion?
  19. I'd kill to have instructions for that F40 as well, it's simply gorgeous. Wow.
  20. Present in two other (non-technic) sets :)
  21. That new Horizon Express train has four of them, for greebling purposes.
