  1. I think it's great, very playable Maybe make the panels and a few of the dash beams green as well to give it a bit more color? How did you make the "reliable v8"? Do you have a picture? Mine always get stuck at some point...
  2. I love it Very nicely done and the GoPro tour through the factory is a nice touch. Personally, I think moving boxes around in a useless fashion is a wonderful past time
  3. This is great; I'll be following this. I agree with @Systemtech re the battery box. Maybe the batter box can fit in the superstructure?
  4. Is the red gear deliberately put at a different angle than the other two? I must agree that I like the gears
  5. I didn't mean to imply that this car and the steppenwolf are too similar; they're obviously very different. I meant to say that the car doesn't (yet) have a very well defined character, which makes commenting on what nose looks best a bit theoretical at best, if you know what I mean. The Parcour is a nice reference, especially the rear looks awesome.
  6. This is very useful indeed. Obvious in hindsight, nice to be pointed out. Thanks for taking the effort to make the render.
  7. I'm going against the flow and say that I like the one on the left (long nose better). It might be the issue with the lights, or the angle, but the short nose looks like a stump. The longer nose puls forward and gives some sharpness to the front that helps the "mean look". That said however, the rest of the car doesn't really look "mean"... more like a buggy with racing wheels (which is, in my opinion, quite evident once you see it next to the Steppenwolf). Maybe you can think about a rear section to see what kind of character the whole car will get. Oh, and can you please stop editing the title of this topic...? It's quite confusing.
  8. Can you make one next to your Steppenwolf? I'm curious to see them next to each other
  9. This is essentially the same principle as Akiyuki and uses in the video that I posted a bit up and also in the video of @Nalyd997 It works well for many applications, obviously! (on a side note: I need to build that plant)
  10. Pff, I can't count I thought the total length was 5.5L, instead of 6.5L. How about using the older 4L U-joints? Or would the old-grey be too ugly?
  11. How did you connect those two axle joiners? With a 2L axle? Why not use a 5.5 axle here? I really enjoy watching this WIP by the way. Together with the DB11 from @Jeroen Ottens two fun topics to follow
  12. I noticed the same, @M_longer... I agree with you that not everything has to be praised and HOF'ed, but you're particularly hard to please . That's fine, but when you say you sound like a grumpy art teacher that will never be pleased with his student's work because he isn't Rembrandt or Van Gogh. Instead, if you say: you are giving constructive feedback to someone who's obviously not as good as you are, but still trying hard. And constructive feedback is something that's helpful, because now @KikoTube has something to work with. Being grumpy isn't helpful. Anyway, just my opinion, ignore as you see fit Let's get back to the Trakker.
  13. Wow. Mind. Blown. It looks so simple when he does it.
  14. Congratulations to all! It was a tough competition. I'm happy to see that the non-construction vehicle entries didn't do as bad as I feared (although I'm slightly disappointed at my entry )
  15. I think the chain has one of those wider track elements that is locked inside the grey part on the shuttle end.
  16. How about something like this? Not sure if it will fit inside your building though... you need to get creative with the chain location and the connection to the white part.
  17. Agreed. This voting was incredibly hard. There are quite a few very original entries, but I'm afraid they're going to lose to the big trucks and machines. I think those left-field entries much better capture what pneumatics can do than yet another excavator, telehandler or garbage truck (no offence...) and deserve some credit for out-of-the-box thinking.
  18. 24:10 32:6 19:4 36:3 34:2 3:1 Very difficult, well done everybody!
  19. Great, well done I love that show
  20. I used the old 9v motors with the Technic Control Center for this very reason ; I'm not fond of batteries (maybe I need to buy the rechargeable battery box, so I can use the new PF). But I'm afraid the stress wore out one or more of the compressors
  21. Wow, amazing! Beautifully done Quite some stickers, though
  22. I love it, it's great! I'd like to build one myself... Maybe my next project
  23. I managed... In the end I used the hand pump, since I couldn't get the compressor to work anymore. Hence the somewhat short video, since it's really exhausting to pump fast enough to keep the pressure high enough. But it works, and I'm happy with it What do you guys think? There's some photo's in my Bricksafe folder: http://bricksafe.com/pages/ludo/eurobricks-tc10-box-factory Apologies for the somewhat low quality, but it was already getting dark... Did the video upload ok? Can someone confirm? I got a glitch twice when replaying it, but then it went well...
