  1. Hi Goliath, excellent choice of empire! - You don’t need to build a ship. Only for joining the MCRA you’d need a ship. You could just license someone else for that too. There are other ways to make dbs (if you want to join the economic system). Just creating free builds will earn you some money already. If you’d register your plantation, factories, houses, whatever you can get a monthly income out of that as well. You don’t even need to register anything if you just feel like building something now and then. - As far as I known your character does’t have to be from any specific heritage. - You can basically be whatever you want to be. There are a couple of jobs that would be illegal in Corrington, but I figure you’d be joining the Sea Rats if you felt like being a smuggler or something like that. - You can have multiple jobs as well, an inventor selling his merchandise would make perfect sense. I’d recommend making side characters later on so if you plan on having a lot of jobs though.
  2. Nice! Shape of the building and the roof is very clever. Lovely walls too
  3. Lovely little display!
  4. Oh wauw, that’s an amazing build! The exterior looks great, love the roofs and the little tower. The trees, cave and swamp are a perfect setting for it. But that interior! Damn, that is just amazeballs!
  5. Lovely little buildings there, nice story as well!
  6. Lots of things going on and still every little scene looks good on its own, well done!
  7. Lovely little temple! May Poseidon protect you
  8. Thanks! Looking forward to using the cannons on you Thanks! Thanks! Cannons are a bit big indeed, might downgrade those a bit if I have the bricks to build something smaller lying around. Think the Corrington description said somewhere British colonial style so I thought of these helmets, they might be a bit too advanced for the age of sail indeed. Then again Corrington is way ahead of its time, yay for science! I have other hats so if the mods want, they can decide whether or not these are too advanced, no problem. Thanks! You have some good points there, thanks for the tips. Still working on getting my sea legs Thanks!
  9. Hehe, sorry about that! I used to play a lot of Civilization and the decisions at the start of the game were always very important. Was asking about MCRA since SkaForHire posted something about sending PMs to coordinate the fleet a while ago. Lots of people probably want to be mayor of their own little village since you get an income for that. The amount of properties needed to grow is quite high though and there will be the character development thingy so maybe some people would prefer growing a city together. We don’t really know anything about the character skill tree yet so thinking about that might be a bit early indeed I also have another question that probably takes months or maybe years before it’s actually applicable but I read this: 'A builder can control up to 5 civil servants, but each position must have a different character attributed to it, and a mayor cannot be a civil servant at the same time.' I understand the mayor can’t be his own civil servants (even if he uses different characters) in his settlement, but does this mean that if you’re a mayor anywhere you can’t become a civil servant in another place?
  10. Excellent build! Wouldn’t want to get bitten by those teeth!
  11. Do we have a plan for the MCRA and EGS (as in are we trying to create a couple of big cities or lots of small ones, things like that)?
  12. Great scene! Nice colour combination too and love the little street lamp
  13. Nice one! Looks like the natives are excellent fishermen
  14. That looks amazing! Looking forward to seeing what you’ll discover on the island
  15. Hehe excellent story, I like those waves too
  16. Great little ship, that owl just looks like it belongs there!
  17. Very nice one! The colour scheme of the building looks very good, love those arches for the big windows at back and the little extra bricks at the corners is a very lovely detail. That machine looks amazing
  18. Thanks! Lots of ships use the same kind of sails so it’s not too late! Might use them again myself so my fleet is recognisable. Thanks! To be honest, the brick sails are about 90% stolen from my Sea Cow. I made some adjustments but I’ve seen people reuse sails from boxes so I figured that’s ok. Thanks! Wanted to use the Corrington colours so I’m happy it’s recognized as Corringtonish Thanks! Thought about closing the gunports but then the ship looked a bit too closed imo. Also, thanks for the update about the DBs. Thanks! The idea was to be able navigate rivers indeed, I totally didn’t forget to order the bottom parts of the hull Thanks! I tried to make it a bit lively with the minifigs doing things, so thanks for noticing! I didn’t have any ladders to add, I figured sailers are good at climbing so they’d be happy enough with a chain Thanks! The railing is bit square indeed, kept it this way so i could fit the Corrington colours
  19. Another ship joins the mighty Corrington fleet, I present the HMS Alice: by Puvel The Hurn, on Flickr
  20. This is my 3rd free build this month so if you aren’t from Corrington and like what you see, feel free to give the thumbs up! Puvel had gathered the funds for a small vessel and awaited its arrival eagerly. The HMS Alice was currently on route to Arlinsport and he was keen to take it and go explore the new lands. His new vessel was build in the great shipyards of Bellton and was a well rounded little ship perfect for exploration missions. by Puvel The Hurn, on Flickr The idea was to make a Class 2 WR.
  21. That’s a fine looking ship sir
  22. NOOOOO NOT THE PIGGY! That’s a nice little boat though so
  23. Oh this looks great indeed! Furniture looks excellent as well
