Contest! The Frozen Beyond, Results are in!

I realised my Cat C just shows how the Algus are changing the weather. Didn’t really add a solution to stop them. Does the build still count or should I make a new one? -
Excellent! Like some other people, love that tree! The boat looks in place as well and those lamps by the path are a nice detail. One question: the dude on the right, is he walking on water then?

[Frozen beyond- Cat B]- "Here be monsters."

I feel your pain! Think I made 3 or 4 beasties before I was happy enough with mine and that one is still cute instead of evil. The presentation of yours is really well done! Lovely base and the Viking is smart to stay away from those euhm blue big spikey things -
Thanks for the tips! Hope to find some time one of the next days to play around a bit. Kinda had the idea when I got a bunch of these tiles from PAB a couple of months ago. Never gotten around to using them as I’m still building phase 1 things for AoM and those are mainly wooden structures. For this category I finally got to build a stone castle so I went for it. You’re right about soccerkid using the tiles for one of his castles so I cursed a bit when I saw that one, very nice castle though! Thanks!

Wild Things & A New Medieval Building guide

Looking forward to finding out how to do some of those things! Is there a difference between the book and articles or will the book basically be all the articles combined? -
Thanks Garmadon! If the last build is someones favourite one it means I’m still improving, always good to know Thanks Gideon! The landscape was my favorite part to build. I cut off part of the sides on the pics as my background sheet was smaller than expected. Each pic had one side that stopped being white at the end so thought it would look better this way. Been trying to get a sharp pic of the entire build, but for some reason I fail at getting the focus right. Still very new at photography so any tips on how to improve are welcome. Thanks Titus!

As soon as the rumors about the Algus started to spread, the Hurn clan decided to rebuild their keep. Luckily the restoration of the outer wall was ready just in time for the first attack. by Puvel The Hurn, on Flickr
