  1. AHHH, My eyes are in for a treat! My 2 favourite technic pickup trucks side by side, what more could I ask to see. I'm suprised that lucio's pickup truck is bigger than madoca's, because madoca's pickup was actualy bigger than I thought, and I imagined that lucio's pickup would be smaller than even the 42029, let alone madoca's pickup. Considering you have built both and contain both models in your possesion, could you possibly make a video about them going on an offroad voyage through a park with some foresty area, like one of top gears specials when they go several miles in vehicles as a convoy. If you could do that, then that would be great!
  2. It looks really crafty and complex, I like it. I can't access the video now, I'll watch it later.
  3. AH yes! for going over speed bumps, I see. Otherwise you can't drive it on the road ;) Good progress there, I really can't wait to see how it will turn out. What sort of scale is it? Is it the scale of the 8070 supercar or a smaller scale, like some of madoca's supercars? I've started to reduce the scale of my car mocs, and the effects speak for themselves. If this helps you then great, or if you had different plans, then no worries. A 9 stud gearbox is good, it means it will easily fit compactly in the moc, because radical cars are very sleek and race inspired. Whenever designing mocs like those, try to make all the components of the car as low down as possible, so that it doesn't ruin the aesthetics. Like I said a 9 stud gearbox is a great proportion, because it means that you could fit a fake engine (if you want), because some gearboxes are so bulky and big, that the designer can't fit a fake engine inside the moc if they intended to. Like I said, if this helps you then great, but if you had other plans and ideas for the car then no worries.
  4. The chassis and structure and organisation reminds me of the 42030. And I just noticed that the 42030 is a good representation of the requirements for TC6. In terms of rules.
  5. In my TC6 entry, my ir receivers are buried deep under huge panels, they are just on top of the floor of the car. It's worked in all my ir controlled mocs and testings. It also gets rid of the worry of ruining the bodywork. The wires, well they have never blocked my receivers, sometimes the receivers work for me facing down but not in every moc. Try it, you will be amazed.
  6. I thought you were supposed to utilize 4 outputs of the Ir receiver or sbrick, and you stated that your only using 2 motors :-\
  7. For all my models, I always bury the Ir receivers deep down in the model, where it can't be seen. And they still work fine, even at long distances.
  8. Wow that's bloody huge, how can you make a moc so big that makes the 42009 look so small?!?! Great functions btw. That probably wouldn't be able to move in my bedroom.
  9. Great, can't wait to see it, will it incorporate a high speed drag race? ;)
  10. Becoming to lazy to make a significant amount of progress with my TC6 entry. And overrunning my deadlines :-l

  11. Very impressive, I really like the design. Also immensly agile offroad!
  12. Can we have a few hints about what the moc could be? like is it a supercar? exotic roadster? SUV? heavy duty offroader? side loader? Truck, tow truck, crane truck, mobile crane truck? big scale tank? everyday car? motorbike? or miscelanous?
  13. That just looks so stunningly technical and well made. Well done!
  14. https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/117883514691193486949/albums/6106860185272120417/6106860182572580706#photos/117883514691193486949/albums/6106860185272120417/6106860182572580706?pid=6106860182572580706&oid=117883514691193486949 Just changed the batteries, and when doing this, I discovered that even without the roof, and rear body frames. The car and chassis still remain perfectly rigid. So if I make a convertible, then it won't be too hard to work with.
  15. Yh, I wanted to make one of those special edition lambo designs, that have the Italian stripes and a few mods. After the competition I plan on making a few more variations, such as a supperleggera which will have a small black spoiler and a black front splitter and I will remove the stripes for that version. And then I plan on making an sv version, with the same design as the murciealago sv with a big black spoiler, extra diffusers, sharper diffusers, huge spoiler and a similar engine air intake to the Lamborghini countach. And finally I will make a super trofeo version, which will be stripped out, and have a new drivetrain and gearbox, there will be aero inspired additions as well.
  16. Sorry I don't really know the names for all these technic parts, but I have ran out of yellow panels. Unfortunately I don't have any of those flex cables. And this is why most of my mocs look a bit boxier than the real thing. Eventually, my technic skills will improve enough to understand how to create good representations of these advanced curves. I started technic in the summer of 2013 I think, but thanks for the feedback, I'll try my best to incorporate these tips.
  17. Here is some more progress: The scissor doors are complete, and rise up the way I wanted. Though because of the large linear actuators, it takes 7 years to open and close the doors. What do you think about these red and green stripes on the roof? do you think it suits the car, or would you prefer to just use the centre italian stripes on the car instead. Either way I don't mind the look with or without them. Please let me know what you think. :)
  18. ditto XD I agree with jim, I'm not to crazy about loaders, but this one deserves the recognition and applause. This is extremely well built and very well designed, well done.
  19. That sounds cool, can't wait for a video. That's a proper mustang if it can drift, can it burnout as well?
  20. For the mustang and Caterham, did you still use the gearbox, or does the power go straight to the rear wheels?
  21. It looks realistic to the real version, but if you want to go the extra mile then I think stickers will complete it
  22. (edit: I have now made a solution to the scissor doors, they now reach as high as I wanted. Because I put the larger linear actuators, instead of the smaller ones, before I thought the bigger linear actuators wouldn't fit, but they work a treat. Pictures will follow soon.)
