Like I said, many people have done that before, but now it has been finally noticed. And the people that normally do it are naive as well, so like I said that's hysterically hypocritical of you mate.
-
People do that to me, but then try and tell me that I hope it isn't rude. So that is hysterically hypocritical :\

Is there anything you would like to reveal about the car, because I am eager to know more about it.
-
I'm sorry I couldn't wait, but this is just a speculation topic really, on what this model might feature and such.

Hello all I couldn't hold in my delight when I came across a teaser trailer from osuharding1 for crowkillers new supercar. You must see it at once. Here is a link: As far as we know it is a police edition supercar, it boasts a v10 engine I think or it my be a flat 10. It might be motorized, but I can't tell. Instructions will be available soon from crowkillers, and a possible review from osuharding1. The design is so attractive, and crowkillers has captured that true mid engine look. If it is motorized, I'm sure it will be controlled via sbrick. Scale looks around 1:10 thereabouts, the car reminds me of a dtm car, eventhough dtm cars are front engine. One of the highlights of this truely awesome moc, is that it uses a 4 speed gearbox, actually planted in the rear of the car, so its realistic. But what sets this gearbox apart from his previous gearboxes, Is that he uses the new 2015 gears from the le mans 24 hour racecar set: The new gear selectors that are 3 studs long. More info will follow soon, but if you know any further info, feel free to share them, and express your thoughts on this striking supercar.

[TC6] Dumptruck 8x4

Coming along very nicely! -
Will you make a v6 version, because that v6 version in real life is based of the mustang v6 and it was a beast. Anyways hopefully you will capture that race feeling through the body design or performance.

[TC6] Loader of Red
LeocornoProductions replied to weavil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Good, but I think it would look better with wheel arches like the 42030, because it doesn't have that presence of a wheel loader because without the wheel arches it makes the model seem really small. -
Yh, I actually think that a c model of the 42030 could be a Lamborghini urus, sure it won't have suspension and basic supercar features but, the b model of the 42030 apparently is inaccurate because the real truck has 6 wheels but the model only comes with 4. But originally when you said that it had 1 L motor for drive, I didn't think that car would even move, clunk or splutter. TC6 has spawned some great mocs and inventions like these. Most of the time, a technic car would only move if it were powered 1 xl motor or 2 l motors or more of each, but now people are getting 1 L motor to propell their vehicles that previous cars with 2 XL motors couldn't reach. Not to mention that TC6 has brought the best out of all builders and even less experienced people than me are churning out some great quality mocs. Almost anyone could win because all the entries are of a high standard.

This is great progress, and I can see all the hard work you have put into this great model, huge size as well. That gearbox issue is similar to mine, because ALL my gearboxes want to tear up my transfer case, and I normally have strengthen it again around 8 times minimum. And some times the XL motor actually twisted the gearbox. Yours is a much higher quality than mine, and probably much more well thought out. Good luck with the completion of your entry, it looks very promising! Will we see a video soon?

That's a very clever dyno mechanism, I haven't seen anything like it. The truck has a very high rpm range, and the boost really helps to. Good job.

Also, what is the gear ratio of your Alfa?

Actually I miscalculated mine. It should be 1:1.67 according to sariels gear calculator, and it will have 16.92N.cm of torque in 3rd gear. Max torque is 40.3N.cm. PKW could you workout what theoretical speed it would have with the 42000 wheels? Your truck has the most torque: Being a truck. But its quite amazing how you and TheNextLegoDesigner have gotten so much torque from your 2 speed gearboxes. I would only expect that from a tank transmission.
-
Yes theoretically mine should be the same as your buggy TheNextLegoDesigner. Because my car has a new 3 speed gearbox, and if the car works properly then its 3rd gear will be 3:5 , and if you simplify that, it becomes 1:1.6666666666667 plus its awd so it will have a quicker launch, but boy if I want to race your buggy, my gear shifts will have to be on point. But epic technic has a 3 speed gearbox as well but his gears will be longer and faster. Hopefully that size advantage will scrub away some power and potential speed, mwahahaaa!!! PKW could its speed really be 3.4kmh?! I was expecting 7kmh considering his gear ratio is 0.2 higher than mine. I'm highly anticipating the day we organise this race.
