  1. No, not really. Have you even read the title of this topic? (clearly not). This topic is to discuss ideas and hopes for LEGO Technic's 40th anniversary. Back on topic, I would like to possibly see a stationary set (one that isn't a vehicle but more a machine), sort of like this rope braiding machine.
  2. I believe that it would then be more suited for LEGO creator.
  3. That would be interesting to see, I wonder how they will make the bucket.
  4. I find this discussion a bit silly because of course if a creation uses a Sbrick it isn't 100% LEGO. Therefore, by TLG's standards, it is not 'legal'. Does it really matter if you use it? No, it doesn't because you are the one building it. You choose. And to the people saying that by using the Sbrick, you are cheating and have no ideas, well you can't even accept a solution to a major issue with the PF system , this make you not have as many ideas.
  5. I'm quite anxious to see the Volvo EW160E because it could be a great source of pneumatics, and hopefully the nice black and yellow color scheme. I wonder which size tire will be used for it.
  6. This doesn't make any sense, it's the anniversary of the Technic line not model team, why would they bring back a different line? I would love to see some new more powerful motors from TLG.
  7. The cracking is completely normal, it is the internal clutch of the actuator. There is no worry, that's the way it is.
  8. I'm pretty sure that that's a no since they would be protruding out the 'box'.
  9. So a few weeks ago, I challenged myself to build the smallest possible car with 4 L motors. One day later, this popped out: So what do you think of it? Do you want instructions?
  10. This is definitely it, it has happened to me too.
  11. Ya, he really has his thing over priced too. I checked on bricklink for an 8051, the cheapest is $57.99 instead of his $75.73. Clearly he is ripping the customers off. More expensive fakes!
  12. There is no rule about hiding extra pieces, you might have been thinking about this rule . The problem is that I am not sure what TLG does, therefore I am using this topic in order to find out. Now let's get back on topic.
  13. I did read the rules, and nothing was in the rules about my concern, therefore my question is completely legitimate. Also, not everyone is lucky enough to have a bunch of LEGO sets in order to know if they do put in 'useless parts'.
  14. OK, I may have asked for too much, but I think your comment is too harsh. First of all, hiding pieces my seem stupid to you but to me, it is legitimate question, Honestly, I ask these questions, not to be criticized, nor to be offended, but because I would like to understand EXACTLY what I CAN and CANNOT do, so I can do the best of my abilities. If you don't find my reasoning okay, well then I won't compete and I'll be out of your hair.
  15. Well I tried to lift some Lego with my Hubsan X4 and it sort of work. However, I am definitely not taking it apart to make a Lego frame, but if I will make my 250 sized race quad then I might try a Lego frame.
  16. True, but then I need to hide two 42009 tires in it for double rear tires for the B model.
  17. I need to build a bucket for a front end loader out of technic pieces and I am struggling to find inspiration. Can anyone help?
  18. If I were one then yes . They don't actually but they are allowed a few extra pieces. So is it okay or not?
  19. Would hiding a front end loader bucket inside one of those mining dump trucks be allowed for the B model?
  20. When we present the final models, can they be presented functioning together? That is sort of what I am aiming for so its best to know now. ;)
  21. Does anyone has a compact method of attaching two of the new (the ones without the brick base) medium sized cylinders without the expensive cylinder bracket? I sort of need this for TC9 so anything is dearly appreciated
