Hey guys, I am having a bit of a struggle trying to make my LPE more efficient. I need to find a better method to get the rotation from the crankshaft up to the switches, without using that many gears. This is the space that I have to work with (i have to get the rotation from the blue circle to the red circle): Any suggestions will be dearly appreciated. :)

10,000 studs3 (I've always wanted to say that) sounds great -

The real problem I see is that its way too small for LEGO technic, I think having similar size constraints as the model team competition's. By the way, when can we have another model team competition? -

I said that with the wrong tone, all I meant was that they aren't available everywhere :( and I feel as if anyone should be able to enjoy and partake in competitions. And to not be restricted by needing one single specific piece in order to have a valid entry. -

They're not super cheap every where -

I believe that part specific contests are not really good because not everyone can take part. I personally do not have a pullback motor so I would not be able to take part. -

I would like to share what technic builder Slewentogzz has created. He has made a fully working Lego technic Ducati 1199. -

Has anyone had the problem where the servo from the 42030 turns extremely slowly to the left when used with a v2 receiver but fine with a v1? -
If you can go to Switzerland, you can download copyrighted files legally so if you can find your file your good. I have just gotten Sony Vegas pro but I am clueless with it so I use movie maker. Guys remember that it's not the camera no the software, it's all in the edit and the story.

Well I really needed to use my m motor for the superstructure rotation due to size constraints. -

8 normal gears plus one worm gear. It was the only way to make it this compact. -

Many gears = Friction = more torque needed -
Time to unveil my latest creation, the crawler crane. Years ago I saw a nat. geo. documentary on a station in the south pole. During the construction of it, there was a crawler crane with a three section boom. Fast forward to April 2015, I built a three section boom for a crawler crane but due to having too many projects, it was never finished. When I saw the crane competition I realized that this was the perfect opportunity to make a crawler crane. SPECS Propulsion: -2x L motors -1x aaa battery box -1x v2 receiver Boom: extension: -1 XL motor Raising/lowering: -1 L motor Hoist: -1x L motor Superstructure rotation: -1x M motor Pictures: (comming soon) Video: Filmed with a Samsung galaxy s3, Fujifilm XP Quadcopter for air shots: Hubsan X4 H107C

This only happens when the tire is over stuffed, causing a bulge. Foam inserts are largely used to hold the tires shape, especially in cornering and in Lego's case, I haven't seen cars that drastically change tire shape during cornering.

Nice concept but I don't think it really it will really do much for lego cars since they don't have much traction issues thought maybe it could help in crawlers.

Oh no only a week left until the deadline . I really hope I can finish my crawler crane this weekend. I've been spending too much time working on design a 3000$ hover board; oh god what is wrong with me? Honestly, I feel as if some builds are too large and i often focus mainly of the large errors within the build, that's why I find that medium builds pack many good aspects all together, but if you manage to build a very good small build, I find very impressive. These are just my two cents.
