  1. Hi, so I have been trying to find the video of a single cylinder lpe but have not found it. The engine is a switchless design, with four 50 tooth gear at the front arranged in a T formation. It is quite large, and I think the creator labeled it as the most powerful lpe ever.If anyone could point me towards the YouTube video, I would very much appreciate it.
  2. Uhm no, that would be perpetual motion a.k.a. >100% efficiency, also impossible here on Earth. Unless you want to deal with superfluids, then that's a different story.
  3. Yeah, I am still developing it... glad I (sort of) helped.
  4. Nice, I just made a compact manual shifter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPjg_ZcPifQ I am currently improving it so it will work in both directions.
  5. Honestly, TLG could have made the steering column look a lot better by using steering links and two of these 90° 'shifting things'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPjg_ZcPifQ&feature=youtu.be
  6. Such a good looking car, but with a terrible gearbox, I just rebuilt the steering column and I am so disappointed with how it relies on friction to function. Great review too!
  7. Thanks guys, glad you liked it! Thank you, I worked hard on the video and your right it is a downhill racer, it's so much fun go drive at high speeds, the only problem is the terrible range of the PF IR system. 8. Ehh, maybe for the chassis, not the body work.
  9. Thank you very much for all the compliments. The pictures don't do it justice, the caster angle is actually about perfect, maybe it could use a tiny bit more. However, I would not add too much since it was a problem I had with the original chassis from last year.
  10. Thanks for all the compliments! Yeah, it's fast downhill and on flat ground, but does lack enough torque for good uphill speeds. I'm anxious to see your future Baja buggy/truck.
  11. This MOC was an idea that i had revisited after a year. I originally made the chassis to be a stand alone model, but then I added a very simple body. The bodywork is not modeled after any buggy in specific. Specs: -2 XL motors -1 servo -1 receiver -1 aaa bat-box -RWD And the two XL motors, one for each wheel, they are not connected. Any feedback would be dearly appreciated.
  12. Yeah I agree with nerdsforprez, a grandfather clock showing the mechanics would be really cool. I honestly just want to see a large set that is something other than a vehicle.
  13. Done! Wasn't that hard, I just had some PDF resolution problem. You can get them here and please give me feedback on the quality of the instructions.
  14. I'll get straight to work. ;)
  15. No problem, I had great fun making them!
  16. Well, I had a couple minutes to spare and so I made some simple instructions for it. Not the best quality but it is decent. You can download them here. Now where's my prize?
  17. Wow! I love lpe vehicles. I want to make an lpe car/truck soon, an I was wondering how long did the bottle of air last at 50psi?
  18. Well I posted the chassis LXF file on rebrickable for people to use. I also made this nice render of the chassis using Bluerender.
  19. I'm anxious to see the final car! If you want to make this car more realistic, I would not use springs that are both on the side of the suspension arms and on the top, pick one or the other.
  20. Yeah, I agree that the roof looks too tall, but when it was 2 studs lower, it looked like a defender 110 body on the chassis of a 90. I also think that it's 1 stud too short at back. I guess I'll try to make the roof one stud lower. But for the bonnet, when I used sariel's scaler, it is .3 studs too tall so I chose to make it a bit taller opposed to lower. Hopefully I can finish it this week and film a nice video on the weekend plus a few days to edit, but I feel like that's just wishful thinking.
  21. Sorry for not having updated this thread in a few week but I have been busy. Now for the progress, I added the steering, which posed a very big hassle, since I had forgotten to add it at the start of the built. After around three prototypes, I finally settled on removing a L motor and putting the servo in its place. I continued on the bodywork, it's just missing the back side. Doors with locks too. And that's pretty much it...
  22. If you want to use a LDD model, you can use Blueprint, it's made by a fellow EB member.
