  1. Nice car, I really like the curves. Just next time you post a video on YouTube, make sure that you have the rights to the content, because we can't watch your video...
  2. I'm with TheItalianBrick, I want a forklift or a new 8455
  3. Okay, another update, I have added a front bumper and recessed the bonnet by one stud, which I believe makes it look a lot better. I also moved the grill forward by half a stud and I chose to have a LR logo. And a side view:
  4. I think I will first try to recess the bonnet by one stud and see how it looks. However, having used sariel's scaler it should be five studs high, like it is.
  5. I think that I won't have a logo. Thank you very much, I was inspired by Effe but it means a lot coming from you. I checked the blue prints and it doesn't really have a curve so I'm not sure what to do. Do note that I'm making a 2008 design.
  6. Progress update, I have been working one the front body work. I think it looks but I feel as if something is off, I think your eyes could help. Here is the new gear ratio. Now, I'm not sure whether I should have a little Land Rover logo on the grill so please choose 1, 2, 3, or 4. 1 2 3 4 If you need the image in a higher resolution click here.
  7. That's actually a good idea, thanks for the tip.
  8. I have chosen to make it LBG with black color accents. I will try to post a picture soon. It's very simple, I only have 34 5.5L axles, while I have 456 3L axles. So it is only logical to use 3L axles since I have way more.
  9. Now for the bodywork, any suggestions for the color?
  10. I haven't modified any axles. Yet... The axle there is just a 2L axle with half bush in the middle, but to make the connection more solid I will probably trim a three 3L axle by half a stud.
  11. I think this is what you mean: But anyways, the pan-hard rod manages to eliminate virtually all of side to side sway.
  12. Yes I am designing a new front axle as we speak. I'm not too sure about what you mean.
  13. Thank you for the compliments. I have also managed to change the final gear ratio from 1:1.12 to 1.07:1. However this is not going to be the final gear ratio.
  14. Thank you, for the compliments erelender. I really want to figure out how to fix the front axle, I think I am going to try something like Piterx's Nissan Hardbody front axle.
  15. Little update, the chassis now has the front and rear axles. The axles have differentials as I do want it to steer and pan-hard rods. And of course the mandatory shot of the underside.
  16. I'm not sure if I will keep the same ratio, I think right now the ratio is too low.
  17. Yeah, like jj2 said, when I saw effe's chassis fore his g wagon, I knew what I was going to build.
  18. After multiple failures at creating a compact driven independent for a Chevy Suburban, I paused that project and started to make a Bowler Defender. For those who don't know, a Bowler Defender starts out as a Land Rover Defender 90 or 110, then it gets tricked out with rally spec parts and gets a full engine tune. I have tried to mimic the original chassis. This build is intended to perform well, just like the real one, so it has four L motors powering it. To show the similarities here is an image of the real chassis. I will try to update this topic every few days.
  19. This probably isn't possible but I feel like it would look really cool in the dark blue from the 41999.
  20. Sorry but that link isn't going to work without your account details.
  21. Thanks but sadly I don't own any of these I only have these so it won't work because it half a stud too wide. But I might have an idea...
  22. I was wondering if someone knew of a 13 stud wide (pivot to pivot point) independent suspension with steering and drive? And please don't tell me to look in the axle thread because I already have .
  23. It was deeply inspired by slewentogzz's motorcycle but I put my own twist on it where I used the battery to make the bike lean.
