    Awesome build, very smooth. I'm sure LEGO would've had fun with this license, but I know they would've made Toothless with a molded head. Works quite well without it.

    I wonder if LEGO's "no religion in sets" stance precludes them from having a named Athena and Poseidon but not a general "battle goddess" and "ocean king." If they were to do this I'd want all ancient mythology: Greek, Roman, Norse, etc. However I think the first day that the series is for sale is a little early to declare it a smash hit. Series 13 didn't stay on the shelves for more than a day around me either.

    Well, I don't know of a site with all sorts of makes but I will say that Pierce's own website has some pretty great material.     Awesome build. I like the minifig size robot / alien creatures. The black creature looks like a sentinel from the Matrix, very menacing.

    I realized this is what you were going for after I posted. However I stand by my assertion previously made in this thread that we could get a Castle theme with a more traditional flavor at the same time as Nexo Knights. I think the two could easily be made sufficiently different. I should also mention that a store manager told me she thought we'd see Castle again in 2017, to alternate with Pirates. Now she phrased it as speculation, but if we go with your theory that there was a memo about Nexo Knights sent to managers, then she would have been suggesting this in knowledge of NK's existence.

    A 2017 Castle theme, even in the summer would be 4 years from Castle 2013. I don't buy the claim that this will be as much like Castle as KK2, but only pictures will tell that.

    Thanks for the tip Blondie-Wan. However I suspect they were restocked out of the back or a Walmart warehouse, according to Iris all their LEGO products have been discontinued: http://www.shopirisusa.com/discontinued-lego I know I will be keeping an eye out anyway though.

    Amazing models, of course its not all about size. Its sad to see all the dust on those ships though from being stored in the garage, I hope he gets a safer space for them.

    Nekchir, thanks for all the great info! I'm wondering if you can see enough detail on the generic soldiers to know if they could fit in to a historical or LOTR style fantasy world?

    Here is my dimensions sighting, in a target. They just had 2 of this fun pack on an endcap with clearance. They wouldn't sell one to me and said they'd take the other off the shelf.

    By this logic LEGO needs to make hundreds of peasant figures before they can make one knight. LEGO figures are not a statistical sampling of a population, they are meant to be fun characters.

    I disagree that it will kill Castle. I think we will get Castle in 2017 and it may even have a more mature/classical style because of needing to be different from Nexo Knights.

    Wow these are great. Its surprising how well the superman hair works for Xander . I was kicking around the idea of making a Buffy MOC, though I think I'd try to make the figs yellow.

    This is not going to say Castle anywhere on it, so its not being done "AS Castle." There simply isn't a Castle theme for 2016. Possibly it could be Knights' Nexo, like Knights' Kingdom but I doubt it. It could also be Knights of Nexo, but I still think Nexo Knights is most likely.

    The only thing that makes sense from this tiny bit of info is something that calls back to early days of LEGO like a homage to classic space, castle, pirates, or town.

    I really like the wolfman's head, the gargoyle's horns and wings, and the spectre's "legs". I'm not sure I will be searching hard for these but with probably try to feel out a few.
