I think they did a good representation of the source material, the printed bottle cap is probably the best aspect. But it seems like a poor value given the simplicity of the character and figure. Being a mascot its not something I'd really see many using in MOCs either. A game accurate power armored figure would be more exciting.

I "de-pinked" Naida's Spa a while back: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107339 Have thought about trying it on the others but other projects have come first.

A Great Camera for Macro Images
Vorkosigan replied to JackJonespaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If you want to take a picture of a single minifigure its good to have a macro mode or lens, but for most pictures of MOCs or sets its not ideal. The camera BrickCurve suggested is a good option, I have similar Lumix camera.. With that camera and decent lighting you can take a picture of something the size of a single minifigure at the minimum focusing distance and crop it to get closer, while still getting an image that is plenty good enough for web use. You can also get a "macro tube" to take macro pictures with the kit lens, a less expensive option than a dedicated macro lens. -
Very clever design, looks like it works well!

That life jacket was introduced in 2010. But I agree that the neck effect is ugly, I prefer the old life jacket.

Sweet vehicle, looks very mean. The staging takes it to the next level though. Is there a guy in the turret?

But since these sets are being released December 1st, aren't they no longer 2016 sets?

These images are thumbnails from LEGO's own cache, they were linked here and then LEGO deleted them from the cache. So they are from a legitimate source but not supposed to be seen...

I think its possible it was scratched from jostling, but wouldn't put it at a high likelihood given all figures are mixed with other parts when they're new in the box. But if you want to protect your figures more for a low price I'd recommend getting some small ziplock bags from a craft store or craft section of a department store. They should have one that is just about perfect for a minifigure. These are close, you can go a little bit smaller: http://www.walmart.com/ip/American-Classics-Corp-491139-Ziplock-Polybags-2-inch-x-3-inch-120-Pkg/24922200 Maybe someone who sells on bricklink can point out what the exact right size is.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion

Love the skunk. But I wish they'd put the goat with a CMF! -
What are some of the "worst sets" though? I guess I haven't bought a set that I felt really bad about. Regarding the review scores, they do have stuff like 2.5 stars for the train tracks because of everyone complaining it doesn't come with curves, only flexi.

Any guesses on the distribution of the polybags we've seen? I'm hoping the bad guy cart will be at Target, maybe the Valentine's section (he's red after all).

They are all gorgeous but the JPIII build is also my favorite. It looks so decrepit and ominous.

Incredible build! The falls and bridge are great, and the layers of dirt are a really nice touch.

This MOC is partially based on this building from Age of Empires: I know hoplites had round shields, but the figures are also inspired by the game, where a "Phalanx" is an upgraded version of a "Hoplite", and looks like this:

Hope they release those "tooth tiles" in black and dark red, for roof shingles.
