  1. How about an awesome Dragon that is worth $50+ and 800+ bricks with many in semi-rare colors like sand green and gold? Many complained about the price of this set when it was released, but I think it is well worth it. I rather like the build, it gives a good impression of the throne and mining areas. The interior of Erebor is shown with a green hue in the films and illustrations, I think sand green works very well.
  2. Beautiful, peaceful scene. Very nice!
  3. Got the Thanksgiving set this weekend and its really great. Seeing that it is sold out, I wish I picked up two. But given that its only October, maybe there will be another run? They have been inconsistent with "sold out" actually meaning forever before... Hope to grab the Christmas sets as well.
  4. You know Star Wars has already sold $6.5 million+ in tickets? Whether it will be good or not I don't know, but make a lot of money, it will. The potential downside to this for me personally is that it could put a damper on the January clearances. If it does, oh well, just focus on the new 2016 sets.
  5. I would like to see the graphic, I have relatives in NJ who I could maybe convince to get me some parts. CopMike did you get image referenced that is used to mark the special parts?
  6. Nice mods! I only wish this truck had a continuous front windshield instead of the two sections. I think the front turret is accurate to many trucks, for example: http://www.oshkoshai...triker-4500.jpg
  7. If you really want to have it out of a set instead of ordering the individual figure off bricklink or ebay, the Ostrich Race is not too expensive. Some PoP are still possible to get new, sealed, and shipped for less than their original MSRP if you watch for deals on ebay.
  8. Really nice, I like the style of it. The cannibal chef is a funny touch, nice use of parts. One comment on the pictures, I don't think its a lighting problem so much as your lens needs to be cleaned. That is why there is so much "bloom" an softness.
  9. Incredible build, so epic! I want to hang out in this world.
  10. I'm probably a bit late on this comment, but did anyone else see Jestro turning evil and get reminded of Willow turning evil in Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Can't see it in these pictures but Willow is absorbing power from books as well.
  11. I hope LEGO makes more sets like this in the future. I regret that back in 2012 I was still in my dark ages and not paying attention to the great Kingdoms sets.
  12. Nice build, the tree has a great bend to it and the stone is well textured. Only suggestion is to use JPG files for upload, PNG are a bit large. You could also crop most of the white space.
  13. Very nice, I like your style! The big door is great. Lots of neat details.
  14. That's a pretty amazing deal Pedilego. I had a good flea market find recently, once again a lot of Harry Potter (if you saw my post a couple pages back). For $14 I got two bags that turned out to have 99.9% complete with all minifigures: 4701 Sorting Hat 4702 Final Challenge 4705 Snape's Class 4711 Flying Lesson 4712 Troll on the Loose 4723 Diagon Alley Shops 4726 Quidditch Practice 4727 Aragog in the Dark Forest 4731 Dobby's Release 8017 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter Only Vader's TIE had instructions. It looked like the sets had been built once, and then disassembled right into the bags. Weren't beat up at all.
  15. Keep in mind that the majority of people in the world don't have a LEGO store on their continent, so we who live a few hours away can't be too mad. I have an outlet mall near my house that I'd love to have a LEGO store, but I don't get my hopes too high.
  16. Gorgeous! Great scale to it, and nice use of color.
  17. It looks likely to be the January "gift with purchase", probably $75 or 100 USD. But there's no confirmation of that.
  18. Wow I'm loving this polybag. I need more statue minifigs, plus gold frogs and a yellow bike. Its great how they include female hair and a flag so you can configure the statue differently.
  19. I think what you're talking about is just the 2x2 radar dish that has been around forever. You can see it well in the top down picture of the first floor.

  21. Wow great to see more pictures, even new sets. Just confirms I will probably get all the bad guy sets but less likely the good guys.
  22. A white and gray bank with a nice neoclassical look could be my first modular purchase. Definitely excited.
  23. You need another option for the 2nd question: "Its ok, it has both good and bad aspects."
  24. I like these guys' prints. The vampire looking teeth on the red guy is a nice touch. The detail on the leg armor is impressive, I could see the torso and legs of the guy on the right making a good dark knight or barbarian character.
  25. It looks like Merlock's library is a pretty traditional library other than Merlock being a hologram, and maybe some levitating platforms to access the higher books. I'm curious how this will look in set form. I hope it will include several of the new book pieces. Also some people saw prelims of Merlock and said he was gold, but I have to wonder if it could possibly be transparent yellow as a minifig to maintain the hologram effect.
