  1. I'm so jealous right now. Thank you for a great and humorous report! I hope you had your Employee-store haul with you on the plane as personal luggage and that it's not still afloat somewhere over central Europe :-)
  2. HI, this is one great module! I really like the mechanism. Seems like the motor is suffering quite a bit. Is there a worm gear? Perhaps it would be better to use normal gears instead of a worm gear. In my experience worm gears tend to produce a lot of friction along the driving axle and my motors were overheating quite a lot. After replacing the worm gear with standard gear reduction, the strain on motor was reduced a lot.
  3. Fantastic review Jim - I really like the banners! You sure know how to take it to the next level. Unfortunately, the set is a dissapointment. 300€ "saved" or better said, redistributed already.
  4. I just might "borrow" that crossed outriggers design of yours. It looks great! Usualy concrete pump truck have such front outriggers and when I get bigger/older/taller I am planning to habe a go on one of these. Good luck with your further design.
  5. I'm afraid there won't be a B model, will it?
  6. Wow! This is huge and still moves easily! Well done! Really good model of thecreal car. Why did you decide for both steered axles?
  7. I also learned that the train carts don't last for long. I built two and after a full weekend running on our LUGs latest exhibition both were preety "tired". There was also quite visible pile of ABS powder on both loading and unloading stations. It's a fantastic module, but really made me work my megablocks off fixing it, especially the last few hours of the event.
  8. That looks great! What will you use for entry bin? Something out of LEGO or a simple plastic bowl? Post a photo in BWE speculation topic and write how TLG changed the design. The number of pages will double over night :-P
  9. This is just amazing, a perfect fusion of LEGO Technic and System bricks! Your videos are also really fantastic. Thank you for sharing the LXF file. This will be a great study of building compact! Now off to see the video again :-)
  10. I really don't know what more to say - your skills are amazing! I just wanna take a ride :-)
  11. OMG, that is one ugly wannabeahelicopter pile of bricks :-) And yes, the new BB is great! I wish it was introduced eariler...
  12. Wow, this almost looks like sort of a smoothie machine to put it on the kitchen top :-) Good job!
  13. Wow, outstanding job, how long was this on your table? Did you start before seeing the awaited "official" BWE or were you inspired by it? The amount of details is fantastic. And moves really well for such a huge nachine. I am also amazed and envy you the pace you manage to build and publish your work. Congratulations!
  14. @Kumbbl: The pneumatic module is pure technic and the part count is rather low, so I'd say go with this one first.
  15. Fantastic, I like your addons a lot. Great work!
  16. 17: 10 3: 6 16: 4 7: 3 4: 2 5: 1 Excellent job everyone, nice to see so many small-ish, yet fantastic models full of features! I wish I had the time to participate, hopeflly next time.

  19. Haha! Thanks Alan, funny thing - I just finished my train modules yesterday evening with some improvisation and my eyes way out of their sockets after reviewing the Akiyuki's video so many times. I should've just wait for your post :-)
  20. Will do, sir!!! HNY everybody, may it be studded or studless as long ad it is ABS!!!
  21. This is fantastic, I really like the last two photos. It so cool seeing this model encaged :-) Btw., those mudguards are spot on!
  22. I really really like it! It's super greeeeen I'm surprised how well the two green colours mesh together. It really looks like it means business Do you plan to make any attachments? Good job overall, hopefully you will present us a video as well.
  23. Wow, fantastic obstacles!!! Great competition you've had. What impresses me even more, is that you were willing to drive for 1300 km just to get to the competition That is dedication!
  24. Excellent! I agree with you on those two extra studs betwen axles 1 and 2.
