  1. Hi, I guess entry topic should also provide size calculation, if this is one of the main constraints, perhapse photos with clearly visible size, i.e. too? Also, you'd better add B model size regulation in there is any...
  2. Congratulations on HOF!!! Job well done!
  3. Will the 10000 cubic studs constraint apply to only model A or to both models?
  4. Jim, can we speculate, that you/EB got them as well? :-)
  5. Fantastic replica of the real car. It looks really fast - how much does it weigh? Supercharger pulley looks supercool!
  6. That is indeed great news - I also fell in love with GBC and that is also mostly because of Akiyuki's magnificent work. I did build some modules on my own, and of course I heavily helped myself with the online data available. I've built Akiyukis grabber (two hands only) and I must say those caught most people's eyes on our LUG's two exhebitions the past two weekends. I hope I'll manage to cut and prepare a small video of my setup ASAP and I will follow this topic with great joy and expectations - the invisible lift is the module that I find most intriguing s oI'm really looking forward to that one. Too bad that most of those great modules are really brick hungry :-) Thank you for your effort in advance!
  7. Valter, as I already told you, this one is a bomb!!! The agressive stance of the whole car is inspiring and I'm in awe how fast you managed to build this one. I had this mean machine in my hands people, thanks again for bringing it to the exhibition in Maribor. To bad I missed you when you came to pick it up. I hope the guys told you how well accepted your car was. Indeed most people went: "Oh look, what a cool BMW!" In can't say how how much I like the front end - it looks like a shark ready to bite some tarmac off! I also really like the side line of the roof. While having the oportunity to observe it for whole two days, the only thing that came to my mind, that I would perhapse change is to widden the line of the "door panels". They start ok behind the front axle, but might look even meaner if they reached the rear axle one stud more to the outside - so that the rear would get a bit widder. But that is just a minor observation. Great use of the small propellers for the seats and the gearbox with the spoiler is a really cool feature too. Your creations are getting more and more impressive and I am becoming a bit worried what you'll came up with next summer for the KT race - I hope you don't crush us to bricks - definetly looking forward to see what will your next piece be. Best regards, miha
  8. I think I'd prefer only one deadline for both finished models. December is full of festivities and other family activities so the time will be short, at least for me.
  9. Wow, congratulations!!! Is there any link to all the prize winners?
  10. That sounds great!!! I like the size limitation, but perhapse I'd propose volume limitation: 25x19x19 = 9025 cubic studs A model that is 35x15x17 = 8925 cubic studs would meet the limitation. Its B model could be i.e. 21x21x 20 = 8820 cubic studs. I think it would add to diversity of the entries so that we don'get 17 trucks and 5 buses :-P No part count limits then? I think a bit more time than the usual month would be necessary in orther to makeva good A model and a nice B out of that. I believe not many builders will think about both models simoultaneously. I don't think dismantling the A model to make a B model should be to much of a problem, if there's enough time available. I guess B model should contain only parts from A model. No xtra parts allowed. And the final Q: When????? Cheers, looking forward to this one.
  11. Is that a joke? If there really will be a batmobile "ucs" technic set, that is reeeeeeeeeeallly bad news :-( Previously posted photos of already revealed sets of the new batmobile indicate a rather fugly pile of black panels. There better be some candy bellow the hood. Maybe such a high price comes out just because it is a licenced set, perhaps it contains another two exclusive minifigs - boooooring...
  12. 5: 10 1: 6 15: 4 12: 3 16: 2 3: 1
  13. What more can be said about this eyecatcher? Fantastic design, the lines are perfect!!! When you already think that yellow is getting boring and worn out, this comes along and makes me wish for more yellow parts Congratulations!
  14. That's perfectly fine thank you :-) Just to make sure: the wheels are driven on one side of the support or on both?
  15. Imho, there is nothing basic here, even the idea itself is marvelous, the execution even more. I already tried the snake slide (30 steps) - yes it is simple but absolutely amazing!!! It's really cool to bend it as you like. I did simplify the supports though...
  16. Thx for considering. If I am not asking to much, the motor compartment without batery box and motors - if there is an easy way to remove them of course. I don't want you to disassemble the whole thing ;-) And some photos of the main girder and conection points between supports and this girder. Thank you very much and don't feel obliged to take those extra photos, pleanty of the design can be read/seen from the video also. Best regards, Miha
  17. Wow, I want to play!!! I love it and my kids would go mad for it ;-) Do you have some more photos, I'd really like to build it. Why didn't you use the rubber belts on the pulley wheels? I know that those cranes are usualy on some kind of a rail, so the pulley is more accurate, but it would feel better standing on rubber, at least for me ;-) Good luck!
  18. I'm not sure about that - CIF itself is quite abrasive and the spunge green layer too. I did the same - hot water (not boiling), just hot, liquid soap for dishwashing (PRIL, JAR,...) let it soak - it doesn't go down easy - for perfect result I used fingertips and for the thicker glue spots i used the tip of the orange brick separator, there were no scratches... The panels are like new :-)
  19. Wow, this is just amazing!!! I especially like the fake engines, wheels and the way you made the tanks. Making this one with Unimog tires sounds at least crazy :-) ...but I'll be glad to drool all over it :-) You rock!
  20. Those great MOCs deserved such a great video. Hat off to you for putting in so much effort! Extremely well done! I enjoyed every second of it :-)
  21. My mistake here, on the photos I've seen the dragster seemed more on the greener side, not light blue. So did the pistons... Unfortunately they obviously remain boring yellow... I am also a bit dissapointed with the front of the dragster... The heli seems ok, not yet sure if I'll get one...
  22. I totaly agree - it's a huge stone block for counterweight. Without it it looks unreal - counter weight is something we would expect on such a device. It looks great, brown beams really add ot it.
  23. What is this part again? Can you please provide more info. Thx, Miha
  24. Looks great, good to see a model on the smaller side - I hope you get it done, no Idea for the winch though.
