  1. @Mogwai: I am wondering if fake engine parts would do the job...although both solutions are rather bulky...
  2. That is a really nice sculpture to look at, I'm already counting my #6 connectors ;-)
  3. @9fingers: Confused? I think Max outdid my truck by far, especially performance-wise. It is true mine had half of those motors ;-). His steering is far more reliable than mine was. I really like all the details all over the truck and lime, LIME!!! I love it! Really good presentation Max and a truck well done! I see you changed the setup of the motors. Looks (and works) much better now. My only "disagreement" with your model would be a bit to much distance between the axles for my eyes. But that is just a minor observation. Otherwise I also prefer this size of trucks comparing to those with unimog or crawler tyres. Keep up the good work.
  4. Not bad at all! I wonder how it will look in "original" colours.
  5. Unfortunately they are blank. This year there are only white and orange (football mold). If I remember correctly, last year they were also available in white with purple heart on them - from friends series. They're about a quarter € per piece...
  6. I'd also go for the first one. I've seen that liebherr on BAUMA in Munich Germany. It is a freaking beast!!!
  7. Thanks! I was always planning this one with a compressor. I used two new pumps from 42043 Arocs. They're placed at 180 degrees, so the presure is as constant as possible. PF L does the job well without any gearing. The compressor was built very quickly and I wasn't trying to make it compact, there is plenty of room :-) About the module: I had some problems, as the bucket was to high in lower position. The gears of lifting mechanism and the damper spring must be sinchronised correctly in order to get the bucket low enough. Also tried it without the damper and it gets quite brutal on the basket :-)
  8. I really like the posibility at rebrickable.com to import bsx files as private mocs and it is easier for me from there. That is of course, if you have a database of your bricks kept there...
  9. Wow, Blakbird, you sure work at an incredible pace, thanks for all the hard work. Hopefully I'll be able to build those modules in full one day, for now they will be a great learning examples. I was keeping myself busy for a couple of evenings with reverse engineering the Akiyuki's Pneumatic module. Some bits I changed, but not to much to really change the design, I think. Unfortunately I have really poor skills in LDD, none in MLCad so, if needed, I can provide some photos (still have to take them :-)), to make it easier for someone who has a way with digital building. Anyway, I am really thrilled about this module, this is my first pneumatic loop ever, so now I understand the principle a bit better. Here's a little video from my cell, so I apologise for rather poor quality. I only used Akiyuki's video as a source and I almost felt, as he was trying to hide some parts in order not to make it to easy for us to figure it out :-)
  10. That is one extrordinary venomous bug!!! It really looks and functions great. I like that it "steers" and the body work makes it look intimidating. Can we some of the internals please :-) I don't usualy say this, but this one deserves HOF. That is one extrordinary venomous bug!!! It really looks and functions great. 11. Thanks for a great review! Too bad there is only one blue curved panel in this set. My opinion on the frictionless axlepins is that the flex axle might be easier to stick in them than in regular/blue axlepins... Didn't actually try it though :-)
  12. I agree, not very good for play. You nailed the shape quite good so far.
  13. I love it! The trailer is a really good addition. I guess in winter you really could plough snow and trim your lawn simoultaneously :-P Really nice entry! I am still waiting for a kick (in the head) for me to start :-(
  14. Nice midel, is it possible to gear up the mower and fake engine?
  15. No surprise here, I am 5 year old boy :-) The truth is I have some problems with facial hair, so people often think I'm an actual adult. Guess what, I built it last night, it really is cute little cricket :-) Best regards, Miha
  16. You really went for it, good and fast progress. Are the valves going to the back side? How many do you plan to have? I guess you have a lot of tubes to fit in...good luck ;-)
  17. Fantastic job, the pedestal is really beatiful, and the chanism is very ingenious! I wonder how it would look if Sisyphus was on a slope...afterall, he was puhing the rock uphill :-) I guess the pedestal wouldn't look so nice anymore...
  18. Ok let me rephrase myself to be more clear : He is an excelent builder of models in micro/mini scale (of those models)! I hope this doesn't leave any room for double meaning Kman860
  19. I really like the standalone chassis and the body's colours. The chassis looks like it's gonna explode from all the power :-) The shape of the body not so much unfortunately. Great review Jim, thanks!
  20. Those mechanisms are really great, I especially like the angle joint, it reallly looks like it shouldn't work. Have you tried to apply any considerable torque to the joint - do the axles still run through holes so smoothly?
  21. Hah! Finally!!! :-) This one really took my shoes off, or to be honest, it amnost got me on my knees, driving it like a 5 year old :-D The only thing bothering me is, that I STILL haven't took the time to build me a couple of those :-( They sure will make some domestic issues among me and my kids :-) I hope you understand that I must brag that Skandinavc let me inspect all of this tinies details :-P I assure you guys, this dude has a lot of unrevealed gems in micro/mini section.
  22. Great idea for both models!!! I wasn't expecting so much progress so fast. I hate to be a party breaker, but it seems to me you are already getting very close to volume limit...I estimate 46x14x15=9660 to what I can see so far.
  23. I just did, wow, I had no idea he was that young!!! Can't wait for his next masterpiece!
  24. Yeah 99,99% or you'll be disqualified :-P I think that should be up to the builder. I don't think even the official designers have B model parts usage percentage rule...
  25. I think that if it fits, it fits, no matter the direction, but IMO a photo confirming the box size should be mandatory in this case...in all cases I guess.
