  1. Great job! A perfect watchtower, I really like how you added the dark grey to the corners, it makes the colour schemes more interesting and breaks up the grey. Also, an excellent irregular base.
  2. Thanks everyone!
  3. Great job, I really like the street design, it works really well here. Its really nice seeing a roof built with technic parts, that is something that is not used often in a castle themed scene. As others have said the balcony is a really nice touch.
  4. I have a 10181 Eiffel Tower set that I am thinking of selling to help fund a trip to America for Brickworld Chicago. It has been (built once) and then stored in ziplock bags. I have the box and instructions as well. I am in Melbourne, Australia, and would prefer to sell direct rather than posting. International shipping at buyers expense is also an option. It would be expensive to send the box. My Bricklink feedback if anyones interested. http://www.bricklink...sp?u=BrickCurve
  5. Thanks.
  6. Thanks, yes the builds will be mini fig scale, (most of them).
  7. Thanks, I have established this as my settlement so you can expect a lot more builds from me to be set there.
  8. Anrarr, Kaliphlin Located on an island on the inland sea of Kaliphlin, Anrarr is the current home of Lord Parimere. The castle, town and villages and farms on nearby islands are governed over by him and a trusted network of officials and councillors. Merchant ships from the mainland are often calling to trade and sell their goods to the island inhabitants. 10. Great build, the trees work really well. The hut looks great, using the same part as you used for the trees is a really nice touch. The field is nice as well. One more thing on the photography, I can't touch on the knowledge of Kaliphlins expert photographer , but I can give some advice on composition and post production. If you added the image of the knights to the background of a photo that shows the archer on the ridge, it might work better than being so close up in the perspective image. A photo shot from the corner would look a better in my opinion, the main photo is taken from a hight looking down, if you get lower and angle the model so it lines up with the stone wall instead of the border would improve it a lot. Also, for maximum depth of field (how much of the image is in focus) I recommend setting your cameras aperture to f/22, though I have no idea what fort of camera you have. Note, small apertures require a tripod, and if you are using a tripod, you may as well lower the ISO down to get the best quality you can out of the images (long exposures). Judging from your photos, you already know a lot of this, but anyway, its alway good to have a refresher!
  11. Its amazing! Great job on the photography as well, particularly the crowd shot. I would be interested to see a photo of the back of the model.
  12. Really great work! I really need to get the original black falcons fortress. As I said on Flickr, you have my vote for lego ideas if you ever decide to put it on there.
  13. Impressive, i am not quite sure about the design of the mouth though.
  14. Good job. I really like the use of multiple colours for the roof, it's not something that I see often.
  15. Great build! Now make the real one and compare!
  16. Great job! The fusion of the Fabuland style with more modern pieces works perfectly here. Well done.
  17. Thanks everyone! True, I just ran out of time before an expo. Then again, I don't have much In the way of trains blue plates, mainly just 1 x 2 round plates.
  18. Thanks. Thanks, I just hope the tower on the right works as well. I was running out of 1 x 2s at the end so I didn't get as much colour variations as I would like. Thanks, the low wall breaks up the symmetry of the model. I just wish I didn't run out of 1 x 2s, the colours in the tower would be much more in keeping with the rest of the model.
  19. An improved version of my ice dragon model from December last year. This one is stronger, using mixed joints and the wings are further forward. In my opinion it look a lot better then the original one, which can be seen here- https://www.flickr.c...ve/23381215452/ . This was part of my display for the Sydney Brick Show (16th & 17th of April).
  20. I have been looking at exhibiting at one of the Tasmania expos for a while, do you think this one, for example is worth exhibiting at for someone who lives in Melbourne? The ferry would probably be the easiest means of travel with multiple boxes.
  21. Looks good, I think the two towers linked by the arch should be 2 studs further apart, the gap a the moment is too tall and narrow.
  22. At an expo yesterday I met a guy who sells custom capes and flags. His prices are pretty reasonable so I was wondering is anyone else interested in being part of a bulk order? I am sure I could negotiate a bulk discount. Some of the designs I was thinking of are a cape with the dragon Knights shield emblem, (the emblem I use for most of my MOCs), the black falcon emblems do the lion emblem from the kingdoms sets. The lining colour is white while the back (where the printing is) colour is optional. Let me know if anyone wants to go halves in a bulk order.
