  1. As others have said, the rock work lava and texturing are super. Having the plank bridging the gap between two of the rocks is a really nice touch as well.
  2. Sydney Brick Show is on next week (http://www.sydneybrickshow.com.au). I will be exhibiting some GoH MOCs there, I also know for a fact that frumpy will be there, although to my knowledge he isn't bringing anything castle (though I may be wrong). I am pretty sure ISC will be there as well.
  3. Great build, the landscaping is a particular stand out. I will have to borrow the technique for one of my future MOCs.
  4. Great scene, I particularly like the way you made the head.
  5. Great job, its rare to see medieval scenes like this, particularly for wooden frame buildings.
  6. Great build, I would suggest a little more texturing at the top of that tower on the left, a 1 x 2 log brick in there would, for me complete what is already an excellent model. As ME said, the colour balance is a bit off in some of you photos, more specifically the colours are too warm to look realistic, particularly in the 5th image down. As well as adjusting the white balance in camera when you take the photo, most photo editing programs have a tool that adjusts the colour temperature, if you experiment with that it should fix any minor colour errors that the camera has made.
  7. A great idea that has been perfectly built, great job!
  8. I have been asked by legobeethoven to post this here, he doesn't have an account here yet. What is the EB policy on people promoting contests hosted on other sites, e.g. a castle contest hosted on MOCpages?
  9. Great build, nice use of the tan arches, they look really good in this setting.
  10. Great MOC, the tree technique is brilliant. I think the grass and the road need a bit more texture, try adding some 1 x 2 plates to make it look a bit more natural.
  11. If you are a member of MOCpages you could contact him via a comment on the model.
  12. Great job, I particularly like the cacti and the path. Just a thought, It might look better on a irregular shaped base.
  13. Funny, I have never had a problem on iPad, maybe I am using the desktop site.
  14. Actually there is a way, there is a program called Bulkr which I used to download all my Flickr photos a couple of years back, the downside is that to download full size photos you have to pay for a "Pro" license. I did extensive research and at the time it seemed to be the only option. I might have a spare pro license kicking around somewhere, the licenses I bought had a download key for multiple computers, I will have to check.
  15. I hope not, if it does I am switching to- Brickshelf? There aren't many other option other than Flickr that ofer all the features it has, especially for Lego.
  16. If it is possible I think it would be a good feature, the general Lego discussion forum is currently full of spam from the same spam account.
  17. Thoughts anyone? Article here- http://www.dpreview.com/news/5785088732/flickr-may-be-up-for-sale-as-yahoo-board-of-directors-looks-to-sell-web-properties
  18. Great job, the walls of the castle could do with a bit more texture though. Some vines and/or some textured bricks would improve it a lot.
  19. Great job , I feel like the wooden balustrade needs to be a little bit higher though, although that may just be me.
  20. Good job, Its always interesting to see people building in new themes. I feel like the grass could use a bit more texture, some more green 1 x 2 plates would improve it a lot. The flowers are a nice touch as well. "Completed with 3 weeks to spare", 3 weeks to go and I have only filled half my allowed table space!
  21. Partially defensive, I think. The idea behind it was to have an old ruin that had been restored, hence the grey at the bottom of the tower. I probably should have added more grey at the bottom though.
  22. Brilliant job.
  23. Advice anyone? https://www.flickr.com/photos/brickcurve/25998357225/in/dateposted-public/
  24. More "CVC 79" its rare when the same spam account creates more then 3 topics in one go.
