2016 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
GallardoLU replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Town
75871 Ford Mustang GT : overall not bad, as has been stated the "Fastback" ends a bit short, and the headlights are terrible to say the least, still I'll probably get one 6/10 75872 Audi R18 'e tron quattro' : Very nice, shaping looks good nothing to complain about here. A must have 9/10 75873 Audi R8 LMS ultra : another good build, but the nose seems to have been shorted a bit, (sticker for most details) again I'll probably get one 8/10 75874 Chevrolet Camaro Drag Race : I Love the old Camaro (though I might remove the blower) its over all a great car, the New Camaro though not so great, still better than the mustang. 10/10 for old 7/10 for new and an overall of 8/10 75875 Ford F 150 Raptor Ford Model A Hot Rod : The Raptor looks pretty good, but needs to be stretched out a bit, an easy fix, the ride height is way to high, but the inclusion of a possible suspension may make up for that. The trailer is nice and Roadster looks terrific. bonus the "Christmas tree" (drag strip lights) pair very well with the Camaro set. another 9/10 75876 Porsche 919 Hybrid and 917K Pit Lane : this is the set I've been waiting for! Porsche 917K specifically the 1970 Le Mans winner looks stunning! I was seriously worried about this one as the cars shape is not something that plays well with Lego. still with the limits that exist this is just beautiful! the 919 also looks great, its shape very well recreated here. the Pit lane is also very nice, though I could do without it (to save some cash) it still has many great features and I am curious what the "Lane" side looks like. I may be a bit biased but this is an insta- buy 10/10(917K #23 1970 Le Mans winner is one of my all time favorite cars) -
Welcome all, I have started this thread to try and gather up like minded people, those that Enjoy Lego, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. I expect there are a decent number of people here that have or currently still play. perhaps we can get a group together in game or discus MOCs based on game references. also if you still play please share your server and any characters you may frequent. here are a few of mine: The Shadowlands server: Cass'us Westar Pebble'Pusher Deadeye'Dunken The Ebon Hawk server: Redlight Subject-Zero

yeah, the only thing that makes it possibly blood is that it in theory must be "fresh" as she is wearing the same ript clothing it happened in. That said if we don't count that, Starkiller becomes even more unique as the Only figure to feature blood.

The Millennium Falcon colour thread (White, Grey or Blue!)
GallardoLU replied to appiah4's topic in LEGO Star Wars
so I've been thinking this over for a bit (since the first comments started) and I wanted to like the white better, and I waited a while to see how the digital versions would play out. but at the end of it no matter the color it is on film the LBG color with darker accents better portrays the spirit of the ship (in Lego form) than a white and LBG version has or would. I think its safe to say we all agree that a Very Light Gray would be the ideal but its just not possible currently.- 125 replies

the only other character I can think of is Padme Amidala with the scratches on her back from the arena Nexu fight.

agreed ^ the plates have far more friction than the brick does, 3 may be over kill, and personally I don't like stacking them on each other but instead use 1x2s plates as a spacer.

I don't know if this has ben mentioned yet, but I feel like this is Lego Universe Sentinels 2.0, which I am very excited for. had little interest in this them up until this point.... Lego stop making me want all themes!

13 Lego trains crashing into each other at once!
GallardoLU replied to AlmightyArjen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Nice wreck, I've gotta know though, there was a crash test dummy (I think it was a crash dummy anyway) in the center of the rails before the crash, and it appears that he may have survived under a train that went over him. can you confirm the fate of this misfortunate fig? -
I've swooshed every Star Wars ship I own, that includes the SSD (takes 2 hands but it counts!) all the ways down to the Droid STAPs. I've also Clank Clanked my AT-ATs and rumbled my Sand Crawler. Oh and don't forget the SUPER PEW! from the death star

what about Slappy and the Giant mantis from "Shocker on Shock street"?

number 126030, no set on that but take away method leaves me with a few choices, best by far is 6030 (1984) catapult. #1260 "car" is terrifying, and 2603 was a Duplo dinosaur bucket.

woops forgot I had a turn to use, next person go, I've got nothing handy

you work all day getting that one angle to work, go to bed proud you solved it, only to wake up the next morning and hate it...

bought one on force Friday and really enjoyed it, and since then I've been considering getting a second one. but all 3 local stores have been sold out of this set for weeks now, all the others are still around but not this one. (also constraction Vader is sold out too) so I'm guessing its doing well over all.

designer/engineer here so I'd go with clockmaker, a mash up of design esthetics and engineering.

I'm surprised to see no one has mentioned the wreck of the Byzantium yet, that could be a really cool scene and a great source for Weeping Angels. along with that there are River and the Clerics. and I'd love to build the Aplan Crypts (or even the Byzantium's oxygen generators (electric forest)

there is also the possibility that a certain obsessed character may have found a holocron from the clone wars, something that maybe we didn't see in the original PT movies, although it would be hard to explain the 10 years the actor has aged in that time....

nicely done, I just went through the video myself and as far as I can tell you have the right part for the windows, and are only missing the taillights on the rear (trans red 1x1 round tiles) otherwise I think you've got it at least on the surface correct. if I didn't have to take apart some of my other mocs I'd have one built too.

that is the Grand Emporium (modular) http://brickset.com/sets/10211-1/Grand-Emporium

I'm liking that Rally car but I will definitely need to redesign the wing on it, really needs to be a bit smaller and tucked up to the bodywork better than is shown. but with the sport city wheels in white it is a must have (probably 2 or 3 of them)

I hope you are just joking around but if not, its common practice over here to show off the engine at car gatherings (I assumed this was a world wide thing) but then again those are all Pontiacs they could all be broke down
