  1. there was a 25' 11" Queen Mary built, that holds the record for largest Lego ship ever built (using a team of people) both of these ships broke the Longest Lego ship built by a single person (previous record was 23') but only the American gets that title, even if the Scott's ship is far nicer to look at.
  2. A-1 you hit my battle ship! A-2.. you hit my battle ship again! J-15, still hitting the battle ship
  3. definitely excited by that last scene! it does bring itself to some new questions though...
  4. here is my dilemma with the teaser ship.. at this point the one and only piece of evidence that this ships wings should tilt is from the teaser (which is irrefutable) and that is also the one and only place that ship is ever seen in any of the leaked info we've scene so far. simultaneously the Lego ship is based on one of two possibilities: A. its based on that ship we only glimpsed or B. its based on something they haven't even shown us(officially). now there were leaks of a ship very similar to the Lego set in question and none of those leaks indicate the winds tilt, but do indicate the tip extends, also Hasbro has also has the same ship in some of their merchandise and so far as we can tell at this point their ship also doesn't tilt its wings. leading me to believe that Lego, Hasbro, and the leak (not the teaser) are all correct. the only thing left to discern is weather or not the teaser is the shuttle or a different command ship....
  5. This is really great, lots going on, and easy to get a feel of Coruscant from all the different scenes. The black sphere has evolved into Purple Parallel, and grants you title Black Bisector! well done!
  6. I just want to be clear, can we discus the sets that have leaked without naming it specifically. or is anything relating to a set off limits? I ask because the films themselves are off limits here and if the sets are too (till the 4th of course) than the only set left to talk about is Hoth... (again I'm only asking for clarities sake)
  7. it's called Dejarik, and I've no clue how you would play via fighter craft of any kind. would be fun to watch though
  8. havnt heard of or seen this film, but your hint contains plenty of info to Google and I find that it was "Four Days in September" someone else can take my post turn (at work so cant go looking for pictures easily )
  9. for me having missed out in the first one (and not willing to pay for the inflated prices the market currently has) this is great. it fills a hole in my sets quite well.
  10. the gulf liveried car never won Le mans.... (info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1970_24_Hours_of_Le_Mans)
  11. heard about that back in march, and just by happenstance my first child arrived that week, he will probably be a little on the young side when it first opens but I am looking forward to taking him when he is old enough to enjoy it (and maybe as an excuse for me to go a few times too )
  12. it could be but as I speculated above Lego have 'accidently" placed bricks for sets not out yet into LDD early. and with the star wars sets (due to be released on Sept 4th) under lock and key they do not want any leaks. safest thing in my mind if I were them is to hold off on releasing LDD updates until that is no longer an issue so September 4th is the earliest safe day for that. again its only speculation at this point. (also its only 3 weeks away which isn't very long at all now)

  14. I'm beginning to wonder if they are waiting for force Friday to update LDD bricks (there are a few star wars only bricks in there already) perhaps they want to make sure there are no leaks through LDD bricks either? obviously they would have some form of digital model of all the new molds, and its not hard to think that there would be a chance that those could slip into a bricks update "accidently" (I say that because I doubt such a leak could be an accident) but to be on the safe side no update at all means no possibility of a leak and an LDD leak cant be easily retracted.
  15. guessing based on prices that we briefly saw for the other sets that it will be the flagship set of the wave. 79.99 - 89.99 (USD)
  16. I personally love the gulf colors on just about any car, but 1970 Porsche #23 will always be my favorite Porsche. (and one of my top 5 Le mans cars of all time) this next wave is sure to be hard on the pocket, worse than the first wave
  17. according to brickmania 75873 is slated to be an Audi R8 LMS Ultra.
  18. you're a little late to the party (list was posted 2 pages back) and I think there were 2 sets in the 50-60 range
  19. Your generalized answer got me thinking, "what has Lego done for rally cars previously?" and the short answer is not much, but what they have done was a pair of sedan like cars, and a Estate car (station wagon) so 'IF' they are going for a throwback to the old town sets the Rally car could be a sedan, like the late 90s early 2000s were dominated by. personally I hope for something of that era (Subaru and Colin McRae fan here) odds are though it wont be near as cool as I hope it will, it will probably look more like a stock fiesta with a wing than a wide body WRC car. either way the waiting game has begun...
  20. Ok, 1100 coasters under your belt I have to ask, which park in he world is your favorite, and which coaster (or top 5 if you cant pic just 1) is/are your favorite/s?
  21. curveball theory (and admittedly extremely unlikely) what if the Carbon Freezing Room has nothing to do with Bespin? SWTOR's next expansion starts with the player waking up from Carbonite Freeze after 5 years. and considering the battle packs are for Star Wars Battle front (also a video game) that brings my crazy theory into the realm of possible although highly unlikely. something to consider perhaps.
  22. just saw this news, and I can't wait for the next wave of Speed Champions, seeing GM on the list give me hope for the Ideas Vette too. it truly is a great time to be a car fan with Lego :) Edit: Also the city theme has β€œRally Car (60113) – EUR 9.99” I wonder which real rally car this will be modeled after?
  23. what is worse stepping on a Lego Brick, or seeing a million memes about stepping on a Lego Brick?
  24. storm.
