  1. not exactly a surprise, both cars are sticker heavy, and the garage space isn't lacking for stickers either. Personally I have little intention of using them (ok maybe the 917 will get stickered up) so it makes little difference to me at this point. still can't wait to buy the set (I found patience and am waiting to order direct from Lego (I want my points so I can shop on may the 4th too )
  2. Read or Die?
  3. Lego!
  4. glad someone else knew, I forgot to post this past weekend probably should wait for Kalhiki to confirm though just in case.
  5. I am in agreement with both you and SpaceMonkey. I've been modifying my cars with the attached picture. this allows me to keep the cars smaller and use the older hubs and arches (the tire is the same as used on Hoexbroe's car) the below pictures show the parts used in the technique, and my viper (first place I used it)
  6. Short of sponsor decals the only major differences are the Large wing replacing the lip spoiler, and the roof being all body color (so don't apply the sticker) minor differences are the silver near the fender vents, and the red mirrors (red is also on the rear wing) and that's basically everything. I know it rides near identical in height, the C7R is slightly wider.
  7. Unfortunately (Previous sentence, I just had to write out: Alas, poor Animitronio Dinklefwat McYarglevitch told Santa "You can't wear Nexo panties inside!" )
  8. 1. Darth Malgus (2012/Sith Fury Interceptor) As stated above, absolutely menacing figure, printing is perfect, and the unique respirator/armor just pushes it over the top. of all the sith so far he is a step ahead 2. Boba Fett (2015/UCS Slave1) I wanted to place him first I really did, I am a huge bounty hunter fan across the board and it's all due to Boba Fett. but when it came down to it the presense of Malgus just edged past the Mandalorian (also there are so many Boba figures that it makes Malgus even more special) 3. Starkiller / Galen Marik / Vader's Aprentice (2008 Rouge Shadow) Starkiller, made the list due to his unique roll in star wars (Legends) being the only character I know to be trained first as sith, before ultimately becoming Light. add to that his printing is some of the best of the time he became an instant favorite. also due to the timing (came out of dark ages) he is a sentimental favorite. 4. Jedi Knight (2013/Jedi Defender Class Cruiser) as a Zabrak he is already in the minority for star wars characters sharing the species with Savage Oppress, and Darth Maul, but uniquely to him is his flesh color skin. add on top of that a wonderful set of armor prints on chest and legs and you have a great figure for any Jedi battle scene. 5. Boba Fett White (2015/character book) I've always loved the classic white armor concepts of Boba Fett, and the old 2010 version has had a place of honor on my shelves a long time. but the new version just stepped it up to the quality the armor deserved to have. including the signature red triangle centered on the helm. Honorable Mentions: Darth Revan, Oola, Boushh(Leia), and Classic Boba Fett
  9. wear
  10. HINT, don't use links that give the answer
  11. WOW, some nice price surprises on the Toys-R-US site, 917-919 set is $69.99 down from my projected guess of 79.99 (based off a euro price) and the Camaros are 29.99 (down from a projected 34.99) the rest were correct in USD. now the dilemma.... buy from toys-r-us and get them a little sooner or wait and order from Lego, and get some points/spend points.... hmm
  12. same thing happened last year Copenhagen Airport for some reason puts them out for sale about 2 weeks before street date (never been but the evidence supports the trend)

  14. I've not heard of a max number but each image does have a max size. 800x600.
  15. Voltaire
  16. one day i'm going to do exactly that! nothing better than being a kid on Christmas, even if your 30, and the gifts are from and to you
  17. Aside from the mouse head, I actually could believe that is the correct artwork XD
  18. in all known sources a Padawan could be assigned to either a Master or Knight. once assigned the Padawan would refer to their appointed Knight or Master as their Master. this is where most confusion arises. in fact the only instance of a Master with a Padawan in the movies was Qui Gon and Obi wan. the rest are either un-defined through the film or knights with Padawan. Venkefedo was faster
  19. you are missing the required overfilled trashcan between them but yeah those look good. just need a string piece attached to the nozzles and its perfect (for a modern pump)
  20. a little blurry and so i'm not really sure but maybe: The Countess?
  21. All Hail the PC Master Race ;) but seriously I've never concerned myself with which is better because compared to Lego they are both vastly inferior (see my reasoning below) Backward compatible : Lego Yes : PS4/XB1 nope Storage space: Lego never enough : PS4/XB1 rarely enough Play Features: Lego Limitless : PS4/XB1 game dependent Life Span: Lego theoretically infinite : PS4/XB1 5-7 years Number of Players: Lego As many as you can stand : PS4/XB1 4 basic, and up to 16*
  22. All these new images have me excited (as evident by the number of posts I've made lately) so I've gone through and ranked them in the order I most want them. 1st Porsche 919 Hybrid and 917K Pit Lane 2nd Audi R18 e-tron quattro 3rd Chevrolet Camaro Drag Race 4th Chevrolet Corvette Z06 5th Ford F-150 Raptor & Ford Model A Hot Rod 6th Audi R8 LMS ultra 7th Ford Mustang GT I'm a big fan of Le Mans, primarily older cars (917k, GT40, 787B) but new LMP cars are always a nice sight too. there is also that mean Ford Coupe, but I could do without the truck. deffinitly cant wait much longer
  23. The difference is Lego have friction standards that they follow, along with guarantees on parts. these Counterfeit and third party manufactures do not, and don't care how long something lasts. and it's that reason that Lego very rarely have clear parts connecting directly to other clear parts, the combined friction is far higher than standard parts in the same setup.
  24. came across this article as well. http://pop-critica.com/lego-announces-new-speed-champions-cars/ several final product advertisement images (all sets)
  25. First thing that comes to mind is maybe try the snow board. I know it is longer, but the bottom is far smoother, and easier to build from.
