  1. Fun scene! The scout is great, and the fire is superb! I like your smoke technique, too.
  2. Nice scene. Your job with the minifigs carries the scene. Well done!
  3. Good scene! Landscape is great, and I realy like the supply wagon and posing of troops. But I must say I was hoping to see camels. Still, I really like it!
  4. OK, I said I'd try to post something this weekend, so here goes. My idea was to focus on the iconic sentry box at the corner of a bastion of a Spanish fort. The sentry box is complete; now I just need to build the fort around it! No innovative techniques here, just slopes and burps. I've thrown the burps together and jerry-rigged a support structure for levels of the fort. It's VERY incomplete, but there's enough for you to see what I'm doing. Here's the main view from the sea: This view shows a little more of the construction: This view is from the back side and shows the two levels within the bastion (figures were hastily thrown together and placed): Finally, here's a more artsy pic: All C&C welcome.
  5. A good looking crew! (OK, maybe a scary looking crew, but that's good for pirates!) I like your use of the CMF swashbuckler torso for the sailing master, and the gunpowder weapons squad looks ready for action.
  6. Here it is with light gray trousers:
  7. Nice buld. The modularity of it all is impressive!
  8. It was the perfect choice. I meant to comment on the hair. Other than the armor, it's the piece that makes the character! (OK, that and the facial expression.)
  9. Great story! As for the build itself, I really like your fortifications, and you get so many different scenes out of one build. Impressive!
  10. I like how your water technique gives the impression of a fast-moving stream.
  11. Great build! The gatehouse/towers really feel substantial despite the small size of the build, and the rock work and path for the mountain pass is great. On top of that, great figure posing and story. Well done all around!
  12. I love it! The tower or the snow would be excellent by themselves, but you've nailed both. And thanks for the sneak peek at your technique with the rocks!
  13. This gave me a chuckle! She reminds me of a character from the movie Dodgeball. Fun build!
  14. Great build! I love the variety of color and how the elements (tower, aquaduct, rocks, tree, water) seem to twist around each other. It feels very organic.
  15. Great build. I love the expressions on the councilors! And the architecture on the exterior is simple but effective. Well done!
  16. I'm usually not a fan of the larger brick-built figures, but you've done an excellent job! I really like this!
  17. Stunning! I'd love to be able to build that!
  18. You've packed a lot into a small scene. And the figures wading through the water is excellent!
  19. I like the close-up photography. It makes me feel like I'm in the scene!
  20. Fun story! And I like the straw for the mummy's coconut juice.
  21. Great steampunk vessel! I love the Osprey-like VTOL engines.
  22. Great scene! And the gold horse helmet looks right at home with his Roman rider. Where does the armor on the soldier on the far left and on the rider come from?
  23. Great way to display your Bluecoats! Do you have a waterline version?
  24. I really like this scene! Great job with the sinking ship and the water!
