  1. Nothing far enough along to photograph yet, although I do have some pieces coming form Bricklink that might let me mock up something. I'll try to get something up this weekend.
  2. Well, I did use the CMF Fortune teller hair piece on the green pirate wench body from the last pirate wave and came up with this:
  3. I've got to go with Brickbeard's Bounty, as that's the one I own. I haven't seen the Brick Bounty in person.
  4. Great posing! A lot of action in such a small scene!
  5. Great desert camp! The limited color range is very effective here. And there's a lot going on in the scene.
  6. Great foliage and landscaping. Well done!
  7. Very good! I like your use of the red plume for blood!
  8. I'll buy the occasional small set mainly for the minifigs, but usually I have to want the set, too. Now, what I build from the set isn't always what is pictured on the box, but that's another story...
  9. I like what you've got so far. The stone effect is good, and I wouldn't worry about the 90-degree angles. The slope of the bastion walls conveys the right feel. I've been working on a couple different versions of a fort of this nature, and you've given me a couple of ideas.
  10. Whatever is decided, all I want is something that encourages as many people to participate as possible. I'm really looking forward to this and can't wait to learn about the other factions.
  11. Great little scene! I like your technique with the water and the tree. I really enjoy small scenes like this that capture a moment in a story. I look forward to your future pirate-themed MOCs!
  12. Very nice! The Spartan helmet works well for the elves.
  13. Impressive! I can't decide which is better, the exterior or the interior! Excellent work!
  14. Great scene! So much detail, so much to like! I especially like your use of leaves to create thicker, less manicured grass. Your use of decorated tiles on the guard house and the printed LOTR shield on the meeting hall are nice subtle touches that give the scene a sense of place. Figure posing is superb! And the well has a very interesting construction.
  15. So much detail. And the interior is great!
  16. Nice little build, and a fun story! And as an aside, I fear I may know those characters personally.
  17. Well done! And +1 from me for the brick-built background! The tree doesn't quite look right to me, but I like the technique none the less.
  18. Perhaps you need to stage a battle scene as the Bluecoats attempt to take the fort from the Redcoats.
  19. Great micro castle and forced perspective! I'm going to have to start experimenting with micro builds. Inspiring!
  20. i like it too. It's a very good start. I'll be interested to see more of it as you progress. My only question at this point is: Is this a Redcoat fort or a Bluecoat fort? You're flying flags for both!
  21. Well done, captain! I'm enjoying your comic tremendously. And for some reason, when I read "BANANAS!!!" I hear "BWA-HA-HA!!!"
  22. I love the walls -- both the design and the color usage! Nice scene!
  23. Wonderful detail, and such clever use of pieces!
  24. The building is beautiful! It's giving me a lot of ideas for something I've been working on. And I also like your technique for the ground so the scene is not on one large base.
  25. I'm very excited to get this peek at what you've been working on! The silence has been depressing. Can you share anything about the other factions? I think sharing anything you can with the rest of us will help build excitement for it, and hopefully lead to good participation when it's ready for full roll-out.
