I got mine from Amazon for £85 and free shipping!! :sweet: £25 off before official release!
-
Thanks for the info! I'll pop in tomorrow in many of them nearby and see if they have them! hopefully yes! Cheers mate!
-
On the Argos website it doesn't list the new sets, also they say the 3X2 it's valid only if purchased online.......but they do have them in the shops, not sure what to do! i'm tempted! Or I should wait till saturday for the official release!
-
Allap what's the price at Argos? Bytheway I've got the crawler crane on Amazon UK for £85....how much is the official price?
-
Yes all pneumatics, apart from the rotation of the turntable which will be the actual one of the arocs
-
LOL there is another section in the forum for "dolls and barbies"....pneumatics are for real men only
-
It makes sense Allanp! Lucky enough I own a 8455 and I love it all the way! About the Arocs; leaf springs are possible! And will be a mod within the 8X8 mod! But the best mod is the huge long swing arn crane I've designed for it....chaps expect this topic of mine few more days and I'll blown your minds up! Let me be say, probably the longest and complex swing arm crane ever designed in LEGO!!!
-
I'm too excited about the new pneumatics!!! But please don't forget the epic 8455!! it will never happen again to have 10 cylinders squeezed into such a small model!! You make me giggle Black!!
-
Well last summer when the 2H technic sets came out we had those new parts updated on LDD aswel, so my guess is that maybe we won't have a new version of LDD, but for sure we will get these 2015 new parts anyway....or at least I hope so!
-
Oh please stop telling me......I'm even more excited!!!   Anyway I'll pop in at the shop in Milton Keynes saturday 1st........mine will cost only £99
-
Allanp that's a good news for us in UK but how much have you paid it? I have £70 discount at the official lego shop, also Smithtoys does offer discount few weeks after the official release anyway!
-
I think it's a bit different: to make instructions of a moc it takes time and energies...and at the end you only gain few pennies from it! Where singers sell anyway billions of album and they are all rich! Plus I do go to lives and pay a ticket for! I'm not going to lie on the mp3/movie, but in the other hand I've been to the cinema many times and I do buy billions of CD and vinyls!

[WIP] Mining Dumper
TheItalianBrick replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
To be fair it won't be 100% precise, but let's say to have pneumatic steering it's more fascinating!! I don't think the point is to be precise anyway as this vehicle it's not fast anyway!- 102 replies

Good news then!! Well what I meant is that I don't like the way you designed the front axle! But it's just my opinion! Anyway as Jurss said you shoud use the pneumatic for steering! You have 6 studs to play with...so should be fine! Maybe you can build a double circuit pump that runs constantly with a M motor....so everytime you want to steer the pressure will be ready!- 102 replies

Jorge will you use the new pneumatics aswell? That would be great! Looking good so far! I'm just not keen on the steering axle....- 102 replies

I understand that Chinese find it easy to buy/sell on a chinese emarket, but this doesn't justify to sell someone else instructions at first place!!!!
-
Maybe as you speak chinese I could try to email them? It's probably worth a try. Anyway nice words from you! I respect you and all your wonderful creations!

sorry Jim! The crane is not heavy at all, so no stress for the pneumatics! we have many different examples of heavier cranes that were actually lifting little weights. When it comes to lifting the main problem is in the joints and levers, not rare they popped out or got broken! That's purely becuase the pneumatics are too stronge compared to the fragile arms! infact a more robust and heavier arm would be better!
-
Exactly......it still works as a fixed axle. you definitely need a differential if you don't want to burn both motors!

This is very sad indeed. I feel so sorry for all the people "victims" of these chinese unfair and insulting "business". Is there any way to contact them and ask in a polite way to stop what they are doing? Maybe if all of us start to send them messages they will stop it.
