  1. Hello, as the new V2 pneumatics has been released I thought would have been nice to use them to create something amazing! I've been making swing arm cranes for more than 15 years and I love pneumatics aswell! So why not! - Scale of the cranes fits the 42043 Arocs, - Special sections designed for these cranes allow to have 4 extensions of the main boom in a 5X5 size boom!!! - They are WIP so although I've built them they need lots of tests to make sure work fine before make instructions! - they refer to real cranes, but obviously there are few compromises here and there! - Routing the hoses it's hard, but will get there don't worry! - There is a third and a fourth crane coming aswell so I'll update this topic time to time! - They will all be full RC cranes! - I'm designing a 8X8 MAN truck to suite the cranes, plus a subframe between cranes and truck as the real ones! (Huge subframes) Pics of the built ones will come soon, at the moment I don-t have all the parts on the right color so they look like a rainbow  (ordered parts so soon to complete them! There are both pics of the real crane and my LEGO version so you can compare them! Real FASSI F1950: Here my LEGO version: Real Cormach 135000: My LEGO version: The other one I'm working on it's a EFFER 2750: This will come shortly after! Enjoy, TheItalianBrick!
  2. I use a screw driver and sometimes a jackhammer!!! You never know...these pins get stuck all the time!!
  3. I hope he is! I mean we all need those new pneumatic cylindres to complete new Mocs and be ready with instructions!!!
  4. I think best set up is to have 4 of the soft ones!
  5. At argos they gave me a £15 voucher so guess it's that one....otherwise in few weeks Smythstoys will offer the usual 20% discount...
  6. I think it's absolutely feasible specially if using the big wheels from 42007! After all using the cardans along the beams should be straight forward! I do see this possible actually!
  7. Believe me when you see all those blue parts in front of you your eyes sparkle as never before!!!!! Can't describe how nice it's this LEGO blue color! I simply love and happy that TLG it's using it a lot finally!!!!!
  8. true but you are missing a point....the 8043 was a flagship, this one it's not the a flagship....it's the "middle" set....
  9. I actually had few pieces missed! About 5 or 6....but I had plenty of in my collection to replace them with! Anyway for all those saying the Arocs cabin looks ugly...well build it and then you'll change your mind! It's a set with infinite possibilities of mods!
  10. I have done 3 of them already! Soon to be presented!
  11. First personal consideration about the Arocs: Looks wonderful and I'm love with it, specially because I love pneumatics anyway! BUT: the crane looks out of scale compared with the truck...nontheless it's fascinating and again i love the new pneumatics! I've already designed 3 different swing arm cranes for the arcos and when folded they are smaller (proportionated to the truck and size of the cylinders), when deployed they are twice longer than the Arocs one! Soon to show you guys!!!
  12. The front axles should be completely re-designed but keeping the same concept! It's hard, but none said it's impossible!
  13. If you think they are too many you can still send those yellow magic tubes to my house....
  14. I don't agree! EB works for all the people on here, what about the rest of the people who buys and plays with LEGO but not necessary frequents a forum? At the end of the day to advertise their own products on their own email/website it's simply costless!!
  15. What I don't understand is why 2 days before release there isn't any sight of advertise from TLG, not even an email, nothing on the website about the new sets....
  16. You don't need anything extra to make use of them. Abou the size, well that all depends of what you need the motor for! What are you thinking of?
  17. Very good point Blak! But hopefully they may take the single pneumatics apart and sell them separately! After all the do produce them one by one....so shouldn't be too hard to separate and sell them on their own! Got it! only one in the store! Unfortunately now I can't build it...will wait and do it during the weekend!!!  P.S. OMG these cylinders look soooooooo niceeeeeeee!!!
  18. yes sorry I meant B&P.....anyway don't forget that there are lot's of big sellers out there who buy huge quantity of bricks/parts. I'm sure Lego has already produced a lot of those "magic yellow tubes" Anyway...time to pop in at Argos now.....
  19. Allap let's hope this doesn't happen!! I mean TLG knows we've been waiting 20 years for new pneumatics, they have to ge them out now! To have longer cylinders it means also a new generation of MOCs, old ones will be rivisited aswell. I really can't wait anymore! Let's see at the beginnin gof next week if there are some updates at the Pick a Brick!
  20. Yes from germany.....just wait few more days and they will be available at the customer service for much less...
  21. About the "too big" they should be fine, obvioulsy only a real test would confirm this..but there is plenty of room. About impossible to obtain there is no doubt you are rigth! They sell them for silly money!
  22. Why would you do that? They won't work plus those tyres are absolutely ugly and not meant for truck! What you want instead are the old "68.8 X 24", same design as the actual Arocs but just a bit bigger.
  23. Sorry! I thought they were already disconnected! I mean when you put 2 axle together in a software you don't see the brake in between them! Infact I was confused myself! Well Piterx will sort that out easily!
  24. Not really, you can still use a PF inverter cable, they should work fine!
  25. When it comes to cars nobody can beat Piterx!!! really looking forwards for updates!!!!!!!
