  1. It "could" possibly be the vertical struts behind the doors from lower chassis to the roof. It's either 9L or longer. Right were the diagonal orange struts are. Either that, or it just isn't visible and identifyable.
  2. I have just seen these models yesterday and was instantly stunned. Also I looked up where to buy them. Finding the link on their website wasn't that easy. Also, these sets are cheaper than I anticipated. You can find the store list for different countries here: https://ugearsmodels.com/ugears%20store.html Currently I am most interested in the steam locomotive, but it's not available anywhere. Perhaps I'll get the tram, but not right away. Let some time pass ;)
  3. Wow, that is awesome. Something like this is what I have been really missing and is a welcome addition. Now it would be awesome if this was somewhat compatible to the Sbrick application. E.g. you can add a scratch program to a custom control profile, assign it to a button and enable that program (snippet) with the press of a button.
  4. I think this will be the first Technic set, on which I'll put all the stickers.
  5. 2x2 round plate + 2x2 round tile with center hole. And a 4L axle with stop pushed in.
  6. I just watched the video. Ditching the pneumatic pump would really make no sense. Not even to get more space. But I also saw, how the tilting works. Perhaps changing the mounting point on the tipping bed might help. Making the angle longer and thus giving the mechanism more leverage. But I guess you have tested that a lot :D
  7. Really cool model. But, you say tilting the bed is not really possible (at least with load), why not build the actuators mechanically? You could use the extenders from the arocs to make mechanical actuators. Those should have enough force for tilting.
  8. No PF? Meh
  9. Without seeing what you have built, I would assume that your lifting geometry is a little off and that when you hit this spot it creates a little "bend" on the pieces. Can you post some pics with highlighting? It's very hard to debug a problem without seeing the problem.
  10. I belive 42039 has a similar setup with horizontal shocks. But don't nail me on that ;)
  11. Please take a look at literally all Formula 1 cars with suspension that have been released by TLG. They all have a suspension setup like that.
  12. Wow. That's very impressive! Well done!
  13. According to the "White is the new red" complaint thread, user filuS has been able to mostly replicate this model: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=125859&st=25#entry2526797 Perhaps you should contact him ;)
  14. I believe there was a similar thread a few years ago. Basically everyone was complaining that most car MOCs were read. The argument back then: Red is the most common color with the best parts palette and other colors getting better over time. The last years we got an amazing push in white parts and this resulted in many white MOCs. This isn't a bad thing at all and many very awesome designs have been created since then. A little while ago when I decided to build the Icarus myself, I thought that I have had enough of white cars for now. Of the last 4 cars I built, 3 were white. Plus 2x Arocs, which basically is white, too. So I decided to go for red again and it was a good decision. On the other hand, I am completely with you guys. We need overall more color diversity. Blue and green are totally underrepresented in the parts palette. Orange is getting better, yellow is getting worse (at least panels-wise) In the end, we can only complain and hope the complains reach some innovative designers. Perhaps the upcoming Porsche will lead us into a new coloring stage as well. But we'll see about that.
  15. Just finished my own version of the Icarus. I decided to build my version in red. What can I say about it? Its a beauty. Madoca you really are the current champion of crazy angles The build was a lot of fun, too. Oh and made a small add-on in the back compartment. It's basically a bar to keep the cables down. All else aside, it's a great build. More pictures are available here: Click
  16. Great review as always. What I also find amazing about this set is the fact that you can easily build your own maze designs. I expect some very creative layouts to appear in the near future.
  17. How would the model perform with only one Sbrick and a single battery box?
  18. Barman, good job on figuring this out. This is way simpler than I expected and still very reliable.
  19. This is a very fantastic car. In fact, one of the best I've seen in a while. I'll definately build it! Thanks in advance for all the work!
  20. You really seem to like the Octan color scheme :D Good job!
  21. Thanks for making the instructions. When I saw the Rebrickable notification yesterday, I immediately checked it and purchased the instructions. Though, I am not sure if I will be able to build this beast any time soon. I checked what I was missing. It will be around 100€ for and at least 300€ for PF equipment (if purchased directly through TLG). Plus I would still need an Sbrick. Crazy stuff :D But, I browsed through the instructions yesterday and they look very good and detailed enough for a smooth build. This model is just crazy in all terms!
  22. You just gave me a great idea for a potential C-model :D
