Of course eBooks are not as good as the real stuff. But I guess, this is still interesting enough. And some people might be really thankful to be able to take the books with them on their mobile devices. Also, the other books seem interesting as well ;)

In the just released Humble Books Bundle, there are 5 Lego books, including LEGO Space, the Adventure Book Vol 1 and Sariel's Incredible Technic. The bundle is available here: click For $15 or more you get all 5 books. In a week, more books will be added. Perhaps even more LEGO books.

Thanks for reminding me. I have used the smartphone stand v2 the whole time without finishing it properly and making a digital file :D -
Daniel H. Wilson wrote the novel Robopocalypse. He describes how the AI Archos frees himself and goes rogue. After that, he goes around the world and infects all kinds of machines until one day he starts a full-blown attack on mankind. Worldwide. At the same time. I tried to re-create the scene where it all started. More details, background and pictures can be found on my Blog: Robopocalypse Rebrickable: Click Thank you for watching. Comments are welcome.

Cool B-model. -
Why does TLG make B-models?
Balrog replied to Emmi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Same here. Need to build the 42030 B, even despite the open bed. I build the B-models of most sets. I will skip the B-model of 42029, though. And I especially liked the one of 42028. -
I think it's very cool that you can switch the direction directly through the driving rings. It sucks big time on other models and MOCs when you have to switch the polarity on the battery box.

You can still mod it to your liking :) I think there will be various variants of this set. I wonder if Jurgen is already thinking about how he can make a ultimate version :D -

The extra "fins" are for authenticity. The real one has them, too. -

Looking back the past years, the model shown in Nuremberg is usually not the the finished model. Detail changes will happen until the release. I think, this thin liftarm is a prime example for that. I guess what we see on the box will be most likely the finished version. -

On the displayed model, it is 1x6 thin liftarms in yellow, not 1x5. -

With this part selection, I would have hoped for a hooklift. Oh man that won't get off my mind -.- -
Now that we are finally going to get new and longer pneumatic cylinders, how do you guys estimate the chances that we get a new, more stable and rigid turntable? Not this year of course, but in the next one or two years probably?

I think, the only way to step up the game even more: all the current functions and features of 42043 + *drumroll* complete remote control
-
Also there is a new gear rack piece used for the outriggers. And obviously for the crane extension as well.

Arocs: Obviously, the bed is being tipped through LAs. The steering mechanism through a linkage seems to be interesting.
