It would be nice if there would be a (skilled) programmer and afol to at least bring SR3D Builder to version 1.0. Not only would it be nice to the community, I think it would also be a very nice tribute to Sergio. He spent at least about 8 years on SR3D Builder and it isn't even "finished" as he wanted it to be. The problem is that nobody has the source code except Sergio...

I believe there's a black version of this part in 42031. Nothing very special, but nice nonetheless You can see it was DBG in the preliminary image, but is black now in the newest images. EDIT: I just realized that the Artic truck has only 1 mini LA in the final model, but it had 2 in the preliminary model.

jantjeuh, I don't want to go to far off topic (which I'm already doing), but your new avatar looks way too much like the one from the guy who runs Rebrickable and Bricksafe. Very confusing for me

I was wondering when anyone would notice the renders. We're very very close to releasing the instructions. We got the full instructions, only some minor things have to be done. I have to say, it took quite a bit longer than I expected and hoped, but I hope it will be worth it Oh, and it has 2 #3 red connectors and no 14L flex axles... I might take a look at were those 2 connectors are being used to see if it can be another color or another part. If there's no solution, well, I can't drop those prices

I don't have a lot of hope for instructions for the trailer, since he said somewhere he already disassembled the trailer for parts for another moc... And instructions... Would it be worth it? This thing costs a fortune to build with all the motors, pneumatics, wheels and panels... Of course, I do understand people want instructions, but would it be worth the hours, days of work if only 1 or 2 people actually build one....

This may sound a bit harsh on a Lego forum, but if you don't enjoy it anymore, you shouldn't do it anymore. You can't force enjoyment, you like something or you don't. It's a hobby and a hobby is not a must. But, of course if you do still like it but just don't have any inspiration anymore. Well, you could try to master SR3D Builder

That new dump truck (42035). Am I right that it has new panels on the back? Something like the flat panels we have now, but with a cut-off piece. I don't imagine how that could be that useful. I mean, couldn't they just use the new small flat panels and a few slopes?

That's an amazing MOC. Really nice (and huge). The video and the photos are also of a very high quality. Nice work!

Amazing work! I really love those cut-way screenshots showing the mechanics. And, as you say, the new photo quality is a lot better than your older models. Again, thanks so much for this amazing website Btw, I haven't seen any typos yet ;) -
I just took another look at your model (8245) and realized that there are still some LSynth constraints visible at the front of the purple vehicle. For the other parts, very nice work, especially the big white rubber band. And I like the idea of adding constraints in SR3D Builder. I'm gonna try that too

Well, you don't really open something in LDraw. LDraw is (nowadays) only a parts library. And, since SR3D Builder uses LDraw as the parts library, the files are compatible with all other software that uses the LDraw parts library, such as MLcad, LeoCad, BrickSmith etc.etc. There are a few things that aren't cross compatible, such as SR3D Builder's own group management, the flexible parts and a few other things, but the model itself is just pure LDraw

[MOC] Aircraft Tug
legolijntje replied to filsawgood's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That's a very nice and original MOC. At first I thought it was quite a boring moc (although good looking), but when I scrolled down I started to like it a lot and it isn't boring at all- 39 replies

Scaler tool updated
legolijntje replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That would be really nice. To be able to draw a circle and select a type of wheel it should be. Personally I don't really need to be able to draw other types of parts such as panels, but being able to choose a wheel would make this tool 100x better -

That's amazing to hear! -
Regarding the multiple floors. I think it would be the best to make every floor a seperate group. I'm not really a LDD user (I use LDraw a lot) so other people could help you better with groups if you need more help. About your screenshots, I can recommend LDD2pov-ray. It's a widely used piece of software. You can find the EB topic here.
