I don't have any problems with 6191.dat in SR3D Builder. Maybe you could redownload the part? I've temporarily uploaded my part here.

Hey lilovip, welcome to to the LDraw sets topic and of course, welcome to EuroBricks in general Your entry seems perfect, nice work. If you have any questions about the pov-ray guide from C3POwen, you can ask the quesion there too. C3POwen might see it here as well, but if you post it in the right topic, it keeps this topic clean. And, you might have a faster reply

Yup, instructions are almost finished. Here's a wip picture. As you maybe can see, the digital model isn't completely perfect (a few litle overlapping parts). The model has all those weird angles that it's quite difficult to recreate digitally. And, in real life, you can put a little stress or bend a part a millimeter. In LDraw, all parts stay just completely straight And, to be honest, the car is far from legally build concerning Lego's rules for legal building... The most "important" one (and the only thing I don't like that much about this car personally) is that you need to take the springs out of a stiff (yellow) shock absorber. Although it doesn't damage the parts and you can put the shock absorber back together, it's just not the most elegant way to make a suspension. But, you have to make sacrifices if you want to have good looks and this model looks (in my opinion) beatiful But, yea, I think the instructions will be finished within a week (or two) (unless the testing shows that the current steps are just garbage :P )

Blakbird, do you miss 68 files or 68 models? I mean do you calculate only the main model or also the B and C models of a set? -
Well, it seems that Oracle isn't very smart. I updated my Java a few times and I thought it would update Java, but it just installs a complete new java next to the old java, So I had about 5 or 6 different Java versions installed Of course that causes a lot of problems... I completely uninstalled all of them and then installed 1 java version. And, voila, it works perfectly now (well, except for the fact that I don't have the .zip file ). I don't have time now, but I'll download the .zip file tonight to test the program. Thanks for your help

I placed a little request in the LDraw sets topic. I don't know if it will help a lot, but who knows -
So, Blakbird would like to have LDraw files of Technic sets (A, B and C models) to render and use on his Technicopedia site. He already has a lot of files but he's also missing a lot of files. So, if anyone feels to make a Technic model or help Blakbird, feel free to post Technic models He'll maybe publish a list of models he's missing.

Well, when I place JLdraw in my java folder (so where my java.exe is hiding) and then use the command you posted above it works. But, it's far from ideal to place my JLDraw inside my java folder... But, I got a JLdraw error message saying tha I need the full library in zip format. Can't JLDraw use my already installed (and unzipped) library?
-
That looks very nice. I'd like to try out the software, but it doesn't work. I have Java 8 installed. When I try to open JLDraw, it quickly shows a console and then nothing more happens. When I quickly take a screenshot of the console that pops up, I can see it says: "Error: Could not find or load main class" and then the filepath to JLDraw. I tried different filepaths, all the same. Any idea if this is a problem regarding JLDraw or is it my pc/java installation?

Nice moc. Really originial. I like it a lot! Btw, as an "instruction maker" myself, I can't help but notice that (based on your preview of your instructions) your instructions are always of a very high quality. At least, they look so. That must be a lot of work

You can also try BrickWizard (has also a topic on this forum). Although there's a bug that causes it to search only in the US. There's being worked on it. Brickwizard seems faster to me, but brickficiency has more options and feels a little more robust (don't know why). I don't want to say that either Brickficiency or Brickwizard is better, but you could try to use them both.

I believe it should just be 0 ROTSTEP 0 90 0 REL It doesn't need the LPUB. Well, at least I never used the LPUB.

How many solutions it will calculate for the 2 store, 3 store, 4 store and 5 store combinations. So when it found that there are combinations for a 3 store solution, it will try to find the set amount of matches. The default is 10, so it will try to find 10 3-store solutions. I hope that makes sense, my explanation is a bit vague

Looks very promising. I'm keeping an eye on the topic -
Well, 15L beams don't fit in the drawers. But, the new version also has, as I mentioned above, also 2wide drawers and 15L beams fit perfectly in those. I can take some pictures tomorrow of the drawers if you want. I have both old and new versions Btw, you don't have to go to an Aldi. The shop I linked above sells them (the new ones) at almost exactly the same price all year round. You only need to pay ~€5 shipping.
-
Yes, they were sold at Aldi here too. The series is called VarioPlus (Basic) from Allit and the old ones with the grey color are discontinued (although they may of course be selling some they have left). The series isn't, the new versions have a new color (yellow), the total height is a little more (I have to measure that though, I'm not sure) and they also have 2 wide drawers now. The "container" is a little modified to hous the 2 wide drawers, the container now has only a support in the middle and not 2 supports to house 4 drawers. Also, the drawers are a little different at the front, but are practically the same size. Any more info needed?

Your Best Technic Bargains
legolijntje replied to Kumbbl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Oh god, another Marktplaats bargain in this topic. Why am I constantly missing all of them!? I regularly look on there, but I almost never find bargains of the caliber in this topic -
I have a bunch of the ones on the right of that image (the drawers). They're quite nice, especially for the price they were sold. Sadly, the line is discontinued. They now have a new line, for the same excellent price, and they're compatible with the previous line (although the sizes are not 100% the same, they are compatible). I can really recommend the old ones (image above) or the new ones which you can buy here (Netherlands or Germany only I believe). Search for VarioPlus Basic. The only drawback is that 16L beams don't fit in the drawers
