  1. I found another one I should keep my files more organized 7131 - Anakin's Podracer - Star Wars The model has no errors and is 100% complete. Download here.
  2. I found this model on my pc and saw I hadn't uploaded it. So, here's finally... 7130 - Snowspeeder - Star Wars The model has no errors, it's 100% complete. Download here.
  3. The normal way of exporting a LDD model to LDraw (using file > export) just matches the LDD bricks with the LDraw bricks and thus, if the LDraw version of the brick doesn't exist, you don't see it. There is a way to export the brick data to a .dat (LDraw part) file, but you get rough exports (although you can work with them). That method is often used by LDraw part authors to get a base file for LDraw parts (mostly for difficult shaped parts like minifig parts, or for example a dragon head). I don't exactly know how that's done, I belief it has something to do with 3d screen capturing, but I'm not sure.
  4. There's a new index update There's a lot of Star Wars and Technic this time. And, there are 2 new users, welcome! A little note: as you can see at the end of the index, the index is getting too long for 1 post, so I'm going to split the index in two parts. Thanks everyone for the models Statistics for last release Records added between: August 24, 2014 and October 24, 2014 Number of sets: 96 ...whereof duplicates: 9 ...whereof alternatives: 2 ...whereof incomplete: 0 ...whereof irregular: 0 New Themes added: 4 New contributors Splat - 2 sets lilovip - 2 sets Top contributors Walter Kovacs - 47 sets marco9999 - 16 sets juraj3579 - 9 sets TotalyWicked - 5 sets Philo - 5 sets papacharly - 5 sets Darats - 5 sets Splat - 2 sets lilovip - 2 sets
  5. I bought the instructions for the tank and the quality is indeed very good, but there are a few glitches. If someone could make a parts list of all the models and add them to Rebrickable... EDIT: I hope LForces doesn't mind if I post the parts list from the instructions here. Here you can view the parts list
  6. Oh, I didn't knew he has a site. I took a look at those instructions samples and the instructions look like a very, very high quality. Amazing work
  7. The model may be quite expensive, the standalone instructions have a very good price
  8. It would be amazing if someone could go on where Sergio has "stopped". There are probably enough people with the knowledge and the lego and LDraw addiction. The problem is that Sergio has never shared any source code. I know that Sergio was programming in VB.net, C# or C++ in Visual Studio. That's quite common, so, maybe there's a way to decompile the code. But, if that isn't possible, we'll just have to wait until someone starts building a new LDraw cad software. For example, LDCad looks very promising, altough it seems to not have the "snap" feature and quite a steep learning curve. But who knows what the future will bring? It's still being updated. Although SR3D isn't finished (as in V1.0), it's quite stable nowadays and we can still use it for quite some time in the future
  9. Those ship renders look beautiful! Amazing work virtualrepublic and scrubs
  10. You really like to modify old diffs don't you? When I built your Swingloader, I cut a diff and when I want build this beauty, I need to modify another diff It would be fun if you would provide instructions for a base model and then seperate instructions for all kinds of attachments. I think nobody has done that before and it would be really fun (imo) It looks very good so far, as I would expect from you. Nice work!
  11. Go for 300dpi for sure. It's waaay better than 150 dpi. About the axle length... I have no idea how to fix that. maybe you can just give all 2.5 axles a weird color, like orange, or pink and put a warning at the first page that pink (or whatever) axles should be axles of lenght 2.5.
  12. There's an error in your 75015. At the back of the tank, there's a LBG plate 2x2 and two DBG cruved slopes 1x3 that overlap.
  13. Wow, I'm suprised that those Technic panels weren't in LDD for such a long time
  14. BrickStock = BrickStore, but updated. It's the same source code (BrickStore was open source), but someone took the code and updated some things here and there. For me, it fixes some of the annoying little things. Anyway, on topic. You can also use Brickficieny or BrickWizard, although you need to have some patience These tools can help (and they're amazing for the casual buyer! ), but sometimes, when there are too many parts, they aren't really useful anymore, because they need to calculate so much that it will take a loooong time.
  15. Well, the speed computer is nice. I got one myself (and I got one MISB, but can't find a buyer...). It may not be super accurate, but it's simple and small. You can also use sariel's tool. It's not an Android app, but you can just open up a browser on your phone and go the the webpage, it's as simple as that
  16. You can find those in LDraw in the the unofficial parts with the numbers 2861C01, 2861C02, 2861C03, 2861C04 (depends which configuration you need) and 2859C01,2859C02, 2859C03, 2859C04 (depends which configuration you need). EDIT: oops, those are the 9V versions. Well, they look almost identical
  17. I went to Lego World the last 2 years, but this year I can't, sadly Still, looking forward to the pictures
  18. No, it isn't. Well, actually it is, sort of, but it shouldn't. There seems to be a problem with LPub and LDview on some Windows (7?) machines. You can google a bit, there was a discussion about it on the LDraw forums. I can't remember if they found a solution or not, but I do remember the problem was a bit vague and nobody really knew what was causing the problem. I also had the problem on a previous Windows 7 machine (and a Windows 7 machine before that one didn't had the problem ) and my current Windows 8.1 (with LPub 4 and LDview beta) doesn't have the problem either (luckily).
  19. Building a V8 in SR3D Builder is quite easy... But, nevertheless. it's useful to have an engine template, thanks! Anyway, I'm looking forward to the instructions
  20. It was difficult to chose, but here are my votes: 3: 10 6: 6 10: 4 8: 3 2: 2 9: 1
  21. Jim, about the voting topic: how do I (and other users) know what number an entry has? Or am I just being blind?
  22. This moc is so cute! Very, very well made It has details everywhere and it still is Technic in the core. I love it
