  1. oh my goddess, they have made the mudguards wider than the tipperbed. was this the idea of Arni or of UNIKAT?
  2. for people which can understand german i have here the long story for the other people: i start a moc with an idea and the first part. you see, nothing special
  3. by cleaning up the room i have found some pictures from an very very old moc. they are shot with an analogue camera, so i hope you have pictures from your pre digital photo sessions, too. offorad deliveries 034 von efferman auf Flickr edit: the pictures are from december 1995
  4. a smaller scale, but very cool made
  5. sounds very powerfull, cant wait to see it in action
  6. sorry, but to get slewing rings for four pf circuits in a turntable it must have a diameter of 13 or 15 studs (ok this would be nice) and would cost 15 or 20 €uros. do you want pay this and what for a original set could use this turntable? they should better design parts to get more than 2 functions through turntable
  7. the lower arm will move forward. if you want i can make a short demonstration vid to show how it works. by the way, the length of my etf will decrease massively etfbackbonev2 von efferman auf Flickr
  8. my drivetrain could be simple modified to raise the gear reduction to 1:11,611 when 1:7,001 is not enough.
  9. I will use " pay what you think its worth" thanks for all of your help and opinions.
  10. thanks for sharing your experiences. it makes the decission more easy for me. how did you solved the payment? paypal or something different?
  11. many different opinions sounds wise what you say.what do you think about free instructions with an aggreement "pay what you think its worth" ?
  12. very cool idea, a crowdfunding platform for big lego projects ,but this would be nothing for me. too much pressure to make it final and lego is fun for me and not work.
  13. i want to build the etf mining truck in real and i think about a way to earn enough money for it. one possible way would be to make instructions for my 9395 tow truck moc and for my U 400 moc what would you pay for it?
  14. my pc has problems too with my model. has anyone an idea if more ram will solve this problem? btw, to be in scale, my wheelbase should be roundabout 20 studs shorter, but only 2 studs more narrow than my actual ldd version
  15. moz, i dont have any scruples to use something like this to build a LeTourneau wheel loader in the same scale. and jorgeopesi, do you think thousand of these rubber parts are enough to build something like this in the scale of the etf? btw scale: i have get here some infos about the size of the theoretical original etf. the length of a four axle version is 15meters long and 6,7 meters wide. every axle adds 3 meters to the length. with 24R35 tires it has a tire diameter of 2175mm. now we can make it in scale of our tires. it seems i have to check the size of my chassis in case of my super long drivetrain i have a plan B yes i know what i had said about battery packs and receivers. but i think i can do it without multiple receivers, when i use some mechanical switches and a servo to switch them
  16. you are free to build one, but who wants to build an excavator in the same scale?
  17. sure http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/efferman/etf-mining/etf060213.lxf
  18. currently iam implement the drivetrain, and slowly iam realize which problems i will get with my "electrical low cost plan". i try every time to keep the drivetrain as short as possible, and now i have a 700mm long crossaxle it seems i have to think about my strategy
