  1. it could be that now the time is come, that sorting is necessary. now i have no free space on my table btw, a quadcore setup is not optimal for fast vehicles. a single receiver dont work good with four PF-L under high load
  2. speed is good now, but it is running out of torque at higher obstacles
  3. this i would not say, the threepin connection is much more stable than a crossaxle. so it has it place of duty, but not at situations there is no weight applied on it. at vmln8r: thanks for your suggestion 100_9926 von efferman on Flickr it seems to be faster
  4. I have tried some combinations and the double bevel gears works best as side support and they offer a relative smooth run. Oh wait a minute, i have an idea this moment :)
  5. Sure By the way, the speed is now the same like the first chassis, but i want more. It is time for a quadcore setup
  6. using the portal hubs was a big mistake. they offer much more friction than a simple axle through hole setup. so i made the decission to use some oldschool parts. 100_9924 von efferman auf Flickr and a hint for people who want to build tracked vehicles. a tight chain tension will bring additional friction so make it better a bit more loose
  7. this is the current standing 100_9922 von efferman auf Flickr
  8. Balrog, i have the same gear ratio like my first bricksaw chassis. it seems that the portal hubs delivers too much resistance compared to somple axles through liftarms
  9. the new chassis is dissappointing slow
  10. thanks guys not yet, it is waiting a long time that iam sorting my parts to get enough free space on my table
  11. oh, i had thinked the proportions was wrong, so i made narrow tracks
  12. "the Bricksaw" is nearly completed 100_9918 von efferman auf Flickr
  13. cool, it was surely much fun. i have made a little testrun with the fasttracks chassis which i have built this morning i think the suspension is too soft and i have to secure the tan bevel gears. they ar falling apart at some situations
  14. its an option. a new version of this would be nice
  15. no, my thought during building was a snowgroomer, but in meanwhile iam thinking i switch to build something like this
  16. today i have built just4fun a small tracked thing. has anyone a idea what could fit on top?
  17. i dont like it because the wheels in the front, are not in the center of the mudguards
  18. I have built it from the naked steel to the working product. At 1:30 you can see me when i go with the remote control behind the tank
  19. jorgeopesi, it is more a dark orange, but you are right, it could be a very cool project. psykater, this tracked vehicle will help to electrify railroad lines
  20. something heavy, which iam building in real life and maybe next time in technic unfortunately the suction function could not work or is a lego turbine available?
  21. i dont think that this is a problem. i use the same idea at my excavator undercarriage and the driving resistance is very low. zblj, would the standard rubber tracks from lego would fit on your haegglund or would they too short?
  22. sweeet i like the simplicity
