  4. today at work i had an idea for an pneumatic rotation head to use in claws and similar devices. 100_9940 von efferman auf Flickr
  5. Oh, this is the drivetrain of my 8043 moc. But the drivetrain of the logging truck has nearly the same complexity
  6. Thanks guys At boxerlego, i think you are right. I do it in the next days
  7. after a long time of done nothing in the logging truck project i can show you some progress. i have finished the rear mudguards. they will be used as platform for the trailer too 100_9936 von efferman auf Flickr
  8. this is correct. this airtank lookalike covers the Battery
  9. Wow, this is making me speechless. Absolutely perfect
  10. Indeed, the boxes are nearly the same
  11. oh man, iam tired from sorting all the small parts, but it is done. highnoon at yesterday it was more chaos than this this is the actual situation 100_9929 von efferman auf Flickr finally i have again enough room for the logging truck
  12. Four times 8110 + the prize for the fifth place = 20 unimog wheels You see it is possible.
  13. An harbour line would be cool. With the various containerhandling vehicles, harbour cranes and harbour tugs. The last one maybe with an realistic voith schneider propulsion system.
  14. Roundabout three centimeters
  15. Yes i bought them on a local tim taylor heaven called 'hornbach'. Roundabout 7 euro for five meters. The tape with 50 kg adhesive power per meter was with 13 euros per 5 meters more expensive
  16. today i have made some tuning at my table to prevent the parts falling off the table i have used plastic L profiles and strong double sided adhesive tape at the side and the backside from the table.
  17. i was going a step back and using two pf-l with a 2:1 transmission, to test if it is a advatage to drive the sprocket wheels in the front and the back. it works a little bit better, but please take a look at the vid it seems that the performance decreases depending on the distance i drive. at beginning at a acceptable speed and a minute later it will go slow. does the lego lipo dont like cold temps or is the snow glueing the tracks? but anyway, i made the decission that i need a shiftable gearbox. so the plan is a adder/subtractor with a PF L for steering and a XL for drive. And a servo to switch the gears. but first i have to sort my parts, because there is too much on table. in this case my first action was to tune the table 100_9927 von efferman auf Flickr i have glued simple L shaped profiles with heavy duty double sided adhesive tape at the backside of the tables, to prevent the parts from falling off the table
  18. yes, every wheel has its own PF-L but be warned, the fuel consumption is huge
  19. unfortunately i have to reverse my entry, because i have a conflict with some other important activitys. i hope you have a nice time.
  20. the G had the same connection problems, but with it slow speed they are not really big. and yes the G exists, only the PF-L are removed for the 8043 moc. the buggy motors, i have scruples two pay 30 euros for a single motor.
  21. you think about an adder subtractor? its worth to tryi think you are right balrog, but what could we do without a light radio remote control?
  22. its not my son, only babysitting for the neighbours
