  1. i have finished the uppercarriage. pleas ignore green parts, because they are placeholder for the PF-L motors or skip some connection problems. the booms will follow http://www.brickshel...percarriage.lxf undercarriage with tracks http://www.brickshel...ewithtracks.lxf edit: i have stripped the ldd model, to show the drivetrain of the standard functions red= track right green= track left blue= shovel yellow= stick orange= mainboom up and down grey= rotation uppercarriagedrivetrain1 von efferman on Flickr
  2. congratulations to hrontos, rm8 and markusOSX does someone know if all final round entries got their lettes now? iam still hoping that the postal service is only slow in my case, if not good luck to all of the contestants
  3. iam working currently at a ldd model of the uppercarriage, so you can see the drivetrain in detail. if you want pics from the second boom LAs please look here and here pics of the connection between first boom and stick. 100_9904 von efferman auf Flickr
  4. with a xl motor it will go slower
  5. thank you very much david. do you know if there is an ldd part model of the PF-L motor available?
  6. Found on Brickshelf and youtube i have not often seen a bridge launching tank made of lego, and mahjigas bridgelauncher was something completely different. so i must say this "panzerschnellbrücke Biber" is a masterpiece.
  7. i have made a ldd model of the undercarriage. is it possible to make it with closed Track?
  8. That is not correct. 5571 has six, the rally van has four wheels with this size
  9. hold this tires, they are from the legendary 5571 black cat truck. they are very expensive
  10. no, it should not rotate freely. unfortunately the LA is rotating the grab when it is in its end positions. or it swings out of the vertical line edit: now the turntable is locked by a wormgear and the speed is reduced to roundabout 30 rounds per minute 100_9903 von efferman auf Flickr
  11. alasdair, my scrapclaw is a little bit too big for 8297. this should fit better 100_9899 von efferman auf Flickr
  12. sure 100_9899 von efferman auf Flickr
  13. conclusion works fine, only the rotation of the grapple is much to fast and needs a self locking feature
  14. one large motor per wheel? works superb, but forget the origiinal chassis
  15. Thanks for your ideas. one of them look like my old scrapclaw but unfortunately it is too big. btw, the stick for the peel grab is finished. 100_9898 von efferman auf Flickr hopefully i can get a 42006 for the claw parts in the next days
  16. this is plan B i think the same
  17. even with my small cyclic and collectiv head this would be to heavy.
  18. i think there is something out of scale 100_9894 von efferman auf Flickr
  19. matias, i think your bus will resist longer first pic of the mainboom 100_9889 von efferman auf Flickr
  20. Heidelberg, mannheim, karlsruhe
  21. in english: here comes the small guy (13 months old and want test everything" Robert M mostly i build with two prototypes if i have enough parts, but at this time this was not possible, because i have "only" 8 of the PF-L Alasdair its the shelter where my dad makes the wood for the fireplace. the kids are from the neighbors and iam happy that the 13 years old was hold by my mother.
