  1. Ok, guys, who is first to post some impovements? I don't have the model yet, but I am curious to see other people's ideas! So, go for it!!!! Update (08. June 2016) of the already know topics (listed and rated by Kumbbl): Blakbirds Step-5-MOD (http://www.eurobrick...75#entry2575969): Fixes the probably strongest issue, the way too much friction in the drive train preventing the whole model from working - fixes a mission critical issue Attikas change-over-catches-fix (http://www.eurobrick...50#entry2579365): Fixes the probably second strongest issue, the double engaging issue which blocks the whole drive train - fixes a mission critical issue and makes gear switching quite 100% reliable supertechnicmans fix for the infinite gear shifting issue (http://www.eurobrick...25#entry2577440): This issue is not mission critical but annoying Paul Boratkos fix for the wrong gear sequence (see Jim review in the first posting which explains the solution): This issue is not mission critical but annoying. A sequential gearbox shoud change gears in 1 -> 2 --> 3 --> 4 Didumos69' fix for the missing HOG (http://www.eurobrick...25#entry2581074): the steering wheel inside the cabin is quite unreachable for a male-hand... so this is not really mission critical but at least very annoying. So this fix adds great value to playability and it is well braced and well integrated so it does not pollute the great look of the car Max supercars fix for the 4R problem (http://www.eurobrick...25#entry2578360): This is not an issue at all but a very unrealistic implementation of a gearbox. This fix makes the whole gearbox way more realistic Jetros MOD for easy unmounting/remounting the bodywork (http://www.eurobrick...3): Not an issue but enhances the value of the model a lot because only without bodywork all the inner workings can be watched. Kumbbl: "Until this MOD-state the 42056 results in a very satisfying model. So i would call these 7 MODs the essential MODs which should and could be applied by every owner with more or less zero additional costs." 06.07.2016: And here is the link to the "Ultimate playable version of the Porsche". 15.07.2016: Didumos69 made a nice sum-up in a separate thread.
  2. I think, it would make sense to open a new thread for the Unimog 8110 U-400, that includes all the MOCs, changes, improvements on the Unimog. It should also contain all the new attachments, equipments, that people build. It should show their ideas and what they are creating for this cool set. I am looking forward to see your creations! I'll start today. I implemented a pneumatic driven cargo bed. It is driven by the original motorized pump and works pretty well. The lifting angle could be better. So there is still room for inmprovments. For more pictures of this MOC plesae vistit my Flickr-page or (after publishing) my Brickshelf-folder. Regards, Gerhard
  3. Great review, as usual! That was exactly my thought, when looking at the icture. I don't understand, why they did not do that.
  4. In real life the Chiron needs a separate key to reach his top-speed. That was taken over by the designer creating this smal grey key, that makes the spoiler/air-break lift up and down. I think it is a big pitty, that it cannot be placed somewhere in the car.. So I would try to find a place to store it.
  5. Oh, right! I missed that! Thanks!
  6. In the official video it says 8 gears, but in the mentioned review from @Sariel he speaks about 16 + R! So what is correct now?
  7. But not all of them. There ar three pictures of the built car. Can you add them , please.
  8. Every Bugatti Chiron has again a unique serilal number. And a small bag in the front trunk.
  9. This - at least - would explain, why the series of leaked pictures suddenly stopped. After the first pictures of the building process, I would have expected more leaks like that. But nothing happend anymore.... Three more days to go .....
  10. From Lego Technic Singapore...
  11. Some more teasers....
  12. And And here ist the crankshaft. Seems, as if he also thinned som connection plates.
  13. Yup, that is what this guy did. He filed/sawed the corners off and put everything close together.
  14. I just found these pcitures on FB. That is nothing, what most of us would do to Technic bricks, but it seems to work. And to be honest, it looks cool.
  15. hi guys, I am looking forward to see all of your MODs and improvements of the fantastic 6x6 All Terrain Tow Truck. So start posting ...
  16. One of the bionical triggers switches between CRANE- and DRIVE-functions: DRIVE functions are: XL Motor drives (controlled maybe by the left lever on the remote control) M-Motor steers (controlled maybe by the right lever on the remote control) CRANE functions are: Winch (controlled maybe by the left lever on the remote control) the other bionical trigger switches between ... LA for liftig the boom and outtrigger function (all 4 will work at the same time) both funtions a maybe controlled by the right lever of the remote control Just my 2 cents....
  17. Porsche 911? V8? Front Engine? WTF....
  18.     This rocks!
  19. Here ist the small modification Blakbird was doing during his build. He changed some small things on step 5 (!) and said that this was improving his gear changing quality a lot, because it reduces the friction in the gear train significant. KLICK

  23. Great review video, Sariel! My respect! One comment: you should have added in the supercar-comparison, that the 8880 has AWS, nit just Ackermann-streering.
