Lol are you kidding me xD? I created my own pattern of 2x1 (with central stud) to create this effect. Leaving some nasty work at the edges xD. Awesome MOC btw.. love the design :)

Hi Guys, I tried to sneak in an entry before I move to my new home, so quality is a bit low, but I am happy with it: ================================================================================================================= While asking around town about the group, Ikarus learned that the called themselves the Shogun's. Not directly a terrifying name, but the number of frightened faces after he asked about them was evidence enough that this was his group. He heard about a supposedly haunted tavern where they had made their base. The city folk told him that travelers who went there for a drink to saturate their dry throats were never seen again. It was said that they were chased until they fell through the ground... none of them would even pass the tavern, let alone go in. The building wasn't hard to find. It was some kind of mansion on the outskirts and if that didn't help the screams of agony and cursing would have led him straight to it. When he peeked inside he saw a group who were fighting amongst themselves and a bartender ready to join in as well. The sounds of torture and insane laughter coming from upstairs were lost in the ruckus of the fight below. ================================================================================================================= More pictures can be found here C&C is welcome as always Thanks for checking. Haha thanks! Yeah me as well, but trying to keep it in the "medieval" fantasy realm was a bit difficult. Most of my scary stuff is "modern". Gheheh thnx.. yeah I just build it from the ground on up :) These are supossed to be some sort of gargoyles.. :) Yes it is! This was actually the only thing I was planning to do... Haha thanks! Thanks! Ghehe I am asking for C&C so thank you for this! I think you are indeed correct, I honestly haven't looked at it like this. For me the biggest importance was to have a raised border so that loose elements could be contained, and just for the overal scenery. I haven't thought the colorscheme trough so it seems. Unfortunately this is allready disasembled (because I need the parts for the following one) but I will think about this in the future :) Cheers!

Hi Guys, This is my medieval ship entry for the CCC XIII challenge. ============================================================================================================================================ This tale of perseverance, bravery and great tragedy starts with sunlight braking on the waves. Although mildly swaying due to wind, young Ikarus stood steadfast as his boat reached the pier. He wasn't planning on using it again, so he did not care how it arrived, as long as he didn't get wet. Ikarus was a young vital man looking to get himself hired as a mercenary. He was traveling for weeks to different regiments, but they all thought he was too young or did not have the experience to join them. As he was denied at all the mayor legions he was now looking for one with a not so bright reputation. The men he was looking for were die-hard fighters, dedicated to their cause but also very very dangerous. Ikarus didn't care, he needed to fight.. all he had to do was to find them and convince them of his skill... ============================================================================================================================================ C&C is welcome as always Cheers, Schreeuwwitje

Hallo everybody, It has been a while since I last posted a MOC in my Greylands series, mostly because I joined LoR as well. So I hope you will like this one: =========================================================================================================================================================================================== Enjoying the nice paved floors in this district, Snip walked purposefully to his target. The fisherman's house was build of wood and had thatch as a roof. It looked small but comfortable. While standing in front of the door he repeated the same procedure he did with Wringer. But this time he stepped a few steps back, because he knew what was coming. For a few silent seconds there was not movement to be heard. But then the silence was overthrown while the door was being slammed open, followed by a small shadow which flew right at his throat... Snip sighed as he felt the weight of the little girl hanging around his neck: "Hi Mina, how are you?" The was around 12 summers of age and had long brown hair. Slowly loosening up Snip peeked past the girl to see his old friend Mr. Trout, which was obviously a fake name. He grinned while he reached out his hand to the big fisherman: "Lord Trout, how nice to see you again" Snip said. "Likewise Mr. Snip" the fisherman replied. "I got your message, your package is ready. I must say I was surprised to get this request, even coming from you. Do I even want to know what you are going to use this for?". "It is better if you are in the clear on this one" Snip replied. "I take it nobody knows about this?" Snip asked calmly. "No off course not" the man growled. "The house reeks of this stuff, so somebody would have probably noticed the smell though. It is packed as good as I could and it will not compromise you other than normal". "You have no idea how fond I am of your loyalty". Snip smiled and reached in his pocket for his two silver lings. "This is for you and the little one" Snip pointed to the now pouching girl. Snip walked over to her and whispered something in her ears. Her eyes lighted up as she turned to her father: "Are we honestly going to the farmers district tomorrow to get ice-cream?" The shoulders of the man visible lowered as he sighed: "Yes honey, you'll get some ice-cream". Snip reached for the man's hand again while he was now laughing out loud. "Thank you sir! And till next time!". The fisherman replied the same, only with a slightly sarcastic undertone: "Yeah thank you too, éh!". Snip waved as he walked towards the dark streets again. His mission succeeded so far.
