Woah, that's a big building; full of details! Is that Michael 'thriller' Jackson btw, in the pic with all the badguys!?
-
Didn't Flickr always use to have this limit!? I can remember something like that, 4 years ago or maybe longer...

The only thing that came to my mind when seeing that movie a couple of weeks ago; it's Ragnar Lothbrok! You could notice it in the characters mannerisms, bodylanguage, way of speech... Anyway, just seen Mile 22 yesterday; pretty solid flick I must say.

Content similar to "Collection of Medieval Tutorials"

For scifi/modern rechniques I don't know of anything similar, though I recommend taking a look in the LEGO Techniques Flickr group. You'll find some nice ideas, techniques & the occasional tutorial; which you can adapt to your own moc's. -
I've just started with season 3... Also, two other recommendations;

@MxWinters Yes it does, I can imagine it's so handy! I'm still amazed by it... Wish I knew that 20 years ago when I had my Russian Dwarf hamster called 'Sonic'; his favorite spot to pee were the top pipes/tunnels of his cage... Succes with your project btw, interesting to see what features you might come up with/add.

I've never known you could litter-train a hamster... *mind blown* :O How do you do that? If you don't mind me asking.

What minifigs are we missing - post your detailed suggestions here

You are correct, Sir. Haven't seen it!? Oew, be ashamed. It aged pretty well for a '90s movie actually. Yeah, can't believe a generic taxidriver doesn't already exists... (Generic) Taxi Driver Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: This jacket torso; looks like a leather jacket + ID-badge added to one side. Type of headgear: This beret in light/dark tan (a la Sherlock Holmes cap). Type of facial expression: This face, but one side neutral and the other side yelling... "Hey, watch where you goin' I'm drivin' over here!" Color on torso/legs: Some dark blue jeans, perhaps some keys dangeling. Accessory: Lunchbag (printed with Coffee Chain logo) & take-out-cup. -

Sorry for the late reply; Ow yeah...! Used him for the LSB contest past year, part of the poster & pricebike. Made an extra one & a rookie judge for myself as well. Made some characters for an upcoming MOC, finally some time to finish a WIP I've been working off/on the past year... Anyway the characters: Taxi-Cab Driver, Corporate Honcho & Streetfood Cook. Taxi-Cab Driver Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: Either this torso or this torso. I personally opted for the 1st one, but the 2nd one could work; looks like he got his seatbelts on. Type of headgear: This hair in tan. Type of facial expression: This face. Color on torso/legs: These legs, but with some extra kneepad printing added. Accessory: Handgun. Corporate Honcho Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: This torso, with maybe some aqua blue arms matching the shirt underneath. Still have to try that out myself and see how it looks. Type of headgear: This hair in black + this collar, but with the extended part turned towards his back. Type of facial expression: This face. Color on torso/legs: These legs. Accessory: Brown suitcase & handgun. Streetfood Cook Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: This torso. Type of headgear: This chef's hat. Type of facial expression: This face. Color on torso/legs: These legs. Accessory: Meatclever, meat, noodles, chickenleg, veggies etc. And to quote one of these characters, you should probably know what the MOC is about... - "Are you classified as human? Negative, I am a meat popsicle!". -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

I'm looking forward to it, just love the 'stop motion' animation style along with the fingerprints, scratches and stuff. But most importantly when it's out on dvd, so I can rewatch it and take in the background, occasionally pausing it to do so! -
@Eggyslav Thank you I did some searching on 'Jingasa' and came across this; "A kasa is a generic term to identify traditional hats. Japanese traditional hat types are easily recognized because the word kasa (ç¬ ) is at the end. There are many kinds of kasa out there like, Komusougasa, Roningasa, Jingasa, Sandogasa, Amigasa, Fukaamigasa, Sugegasa, Torioigasa, Takuhatsugasa, YagyÅ«gasa and Ajirogasa." - oldjapan.org And also an article on wikipedia, which can be found here; wikilink. Still gonna do some more searching & find out more about them.

So I've been finishing some WIP's and in the meantime started thinking about building a Ninjago/Cyberpunk-esque styled dio... Started on aquiring parts and assembling some key/minorfigs to get a feel for the setting I want to convey; streetdealers, datarunners, corporates, etc. (93059) (26007) Now I have been wondering, TLG produces 2 kinds of Asian conical hats; but is there an underlying cultural significance/difference between them? The tan one (93059) is what I associate with an Asian hat. I've seen the dark flesh one (26007) before, but can't quite put my finger on it. Anybody willing to maybe shed some light on this for me? I've googled, but can't seem to find it.

That's a very pretty & detailed site; top knotch job you did on that! Have you considered adding several sets containing reissues of Classic Space figs; #850423, #852753-1, #5000440-1, #2755028, #5002812-1, #852535-1, #852697-1, #79893 & #113060? Or perhaps the 'Great Lego Sets' book; UK version / US version which came with a exclusive micro-scale Space Cruiser?

The only thing you should be building right now are Lego boats... So you can take them in the pool with you.

Young Sheldon; Season 1, episode 16 (Killer Asteroids, Oklahoma, and a Frizzy Hair Machine). Around the 03.00m mark, there's a poster on Sheldon's bedroom wall featuring Lego Classic Space figures & a rocketship. Just behind the yellow light...

Shooting cult crazies on the redneck hillybilly countryside. 'Murica, f*ck yeah!

This dude build 2 prosthetic arms out of Lego for himself! I wonder if he made more versions; for example with fingers, other attachments, or with even more streamlined looks. Anyway, I find it inspirational that he used his ingenuity for his love for Lego to use as a 'helping hand' so to speak.

Cycling is just a part of culture here I guess... everyone owns a bike & can ride it. I was really into bmx-ing on dirttracks when I was a kid, transitioned to mtb's in my teens, right now I only cycle as a cheap tranportation method for getting from a to b. Just cycling alongside traffic on a standard black 'granny bike', though I'm looking into getting a 'fixie' cause cycling is a good way for me to empty my head...

the Lego Ninjago movie. Just love the way they do those animations, but mostly the details; fingerprints, scratches, hairs & offcourse I pause it to see something I spotted in the background.
