Here's my dwarven army. ) Since I really like them in LEGO, I decided to divide them in some categories:

Ooh, quite interesting. But, you do know Dwarf women have Beards too?

Just kidding. :P

Anyway, my army isn't all that great right now. I'll get some pics of it after I beef it up a little.

As I said when I introduced myself, I like LEGO orcs. This is my orcish army. Complete with siege equipment both from sets and MOC. In the back you see the Dark red Goblins. Beside them orcs. In front of them the rable to "Test" the enemies firepower. Just ahead of them berserks. And leading the way giant trolls.

Looks good! I like the way the horn looks on the wolverine-type helmet.

I'm going to merge this into the Post Your Army thread.

Is the dwarf army Warhammer inspired? I got this impression from the Hammerers (there's such a class there :) Plus, the riflemen look like the engineers in the Warhemmer MMO which I played for a while ...

I guess your not called the Dwarfinator for nothing. Great army!

Um, pardon, but is that me, you are adressing? ) :sweet:

No, I wouldn't say so. ) Though I've been playing Warhammer (table one) for quite a long time, I'd have to say that, perhaps, only gunners bear some influence of the Thunderers. But that's also quite questionable.

As for the rest, I mostly took inspiration from good old games (now forgotten by ye young lads  ). Such as HMM II or MM 6,7,8. :sweet:

Good day, gentlemen! ) :sweet:

This is my Castle guys hanging out on a shelf. 55 of them not counting the animals, once their 34 friends arrive from PAB they will be arranged in fractions.

As you can see i like the humans and undead the most, the dwarves are quite cute too but I'm passing on the orcs, just got two of them. I simply refuse to buy any siege equipment that looks like a monstertruck (like the horrible dwarven lawnmower 7040) and that rules out most of the dwarf and orc armybuilders. Eventually this army will be joined by whatever is left of my early 80s collection.

Here's my wizard, my favourite character. I felt he needed a bit of magic glow so I installed a small green LED in his crystal ball.

Ever seen longhorn skeleton cavalry before?

Captain Cavinano, nice Pavise Crossbowman. I was wondering if you did anything special to allow the minifig to hold it as a shield when not deployed? Or is it just a regular 2x3 plate?

I made some pictures about 2 months ago off all my castle stuff, and didn't know what to do with them.

So here they are:

The total field:

Ps: the white thing on the right of picture 1 and in the back of picture 2 is an owl. (A fake one of course)

As I take pictures and gradually add the figures to my displays, I will start to include them on here.

Here is my Troll army at one of our recent shows. This is only about a quarter of them, since I have way too many boxes to still open and sort through. So darn time consuming, right? Anyway, my first army thread contribution.

that's a lot of neck armors, did you purchase mass battlepacks/tower raids or did you just buy them via bricklink/ebay?

Wow! Very interesting topic!

Yesterday I have posted at Russian Fan-forum Lego (RFFL) my new work with heroes of folk Russian legends - Dobrinya Nikitich, Ilya Muromets and Alesha Popovich.

This is an original picture "3 heroes" by famous russian artist V.Vasnetsov

That's a link to my largest army (Ninja Theme), but there are better views if you click through my Flickr, as well as different armies for other factions! :]

Very impressive setup!

I am really inspired by your Ninja collection, and its something that I slowly working towards to, by re-collecting and purchasing the playsets. The different armies formation is very well organised. Thanks for sharing!

impressive troll army there. I assume you purchased like 20+ troll battle packs?

yes, before I purchased 20 battle packs, I already had 60+ trolls, especially troll5 (bricklink catalog) and hundred shields.
