Great build. It's an instant classic. It's so thoroughly detailed in every nook and cranny!

I want all of those black windows.

This is my first attempt at a corner building. First floor is a pizza restaurant. Second floor is a music store. Third floor has some criminals squatting in it. PA180150 by paostmo, on Flickr My flickr page: https://www.flickr.c...157660003329141

I moved to Taiwan last month and had to leave all my LEGOs behind . I found the Pet Shop at a Toys R Us, but it cost $6000NT ($200 USD). That big Harry Potter set with the three buildings is $7000NT! I've checked the LEGO website to see if I can order sets from the USA region and have them shipped to Taiwan, but it doesn't seem possible. And because I can't read Mandarin, I can't check the Asian region on the LEGO website. I'd rather not pay the 25% or greater markup by buying them at the local Toys R Us... but I may not have any other choice. Does anybody have any suggestions? Does anybody else live in Taiwan?

It took me awhile to figure out that guy in the sand. Nice work.

VIDEO Review: 70411 Treasure Island - AWESOME!
paostmo replied to Bricks Planet's topic in LEGO Pirates
That is an incredible review. It almost felt like I was building the set myself. Great LEGO set too. -
Impressive interior. Is that a pirate shirt on the patient?

I love all of your work. It has inspired me to switch my building style to having an open back, rather than full modular. It makes so much more sense to me. Great colors in this build.

Love the rug.

Wonderful homage to one of my favorite games!

Is it ethical to sell the bricks needed to make someone else's MOC
paostmo replied to Tombacus's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think it's ok to sell the lot of bricks like "gazumpty" said. You aren't selling the instructions, and you aren't making the claim that it is your design. You should include information on where to buy the instructions from the actual designer if possible. -
Your record store and the original trike store are both amazing. cimddwc's MOC has been very inspiring to me as well!

Thanks for all of the comments. I really enjoy modulars with different heights and widths than the standard 16 or 32 studs. That's what I was going for with this build and my Police Station MOC.

Thanks for the comments! I haven't created my own police car yet, so I just threw an official set in there.

Another great build. Very good all around, but you should be particularly proud of your use of handcuffs. That detailing really turned out nicely. The build as a whole reminds me of the video game Infamous 2, which is based on ..... you guessed it.... New Orleans.
