    I have an idea for a contest but I haven't had the time to finalize things and timing with other EB contests hasn't been good. I'll try to get that done as soon as possible since there seem to be a few people keen on a competition. As far as a Simpsons contest or community build goes, let me think about it a few days and see what I can come up with. Maybe I can get something together.

    I kind of like the bank truck. It could use some modification but the parts look good. Definitely worth it for Doc Ock. It seems weird that the Lego Store would mark up the Hulk set. $50 is much more reasonable, but I still hope Amazon can discount it at some point (after my tax refund comes). Looking at Electro, it doesn't seem all that hard to see him as Iceman instead. I expected more electrical markings on him but I'm grateful that I may have another X-man even if that wasn't TLG's intent.

    As I've said before, this is a suggestion box. I value your opinions and I do want to hear your ideas for making the forum a better place to visit but there are some things that are not going to change right now. Making a separate forum for SH or even a subforum within Licensed doesn't make sense for reasons stated and wouldn't be worth the work it entails.

    I thought I was clear that Superheroes will NOT get a separate forum at this time. The debate on that can stop. Please be patient about the banner.

    But why is "CMF" considered a theme? The Simpsons line doesn't count toward the numbering of the non-licensed series. The only thing it has in common with previous CMF series is the method in which it will be sold and distributed.

    What, you think this is some kind of democracy now? Give you an inch and... This is a suggestion box, not a congress. I don't think this one is going to work. Sure, there are a lot of SH threads and MOCs right now, but that activity level is the sign of a successful forum. You take all of that away and what will the Licensed forum look like? In any case there are not so many threads that other themes are really being pushed away too quickly. I'll look into it.

    The decision to put LOTR and the Hobbit in History has more to do with building style than being based on reality. The castle theme itself has never been realistic and at times has borrowed heavily from the fantasy genre of which LOTR is a prime example. There were a fair amount of MOCs based on Tolkien's world in History already anyway. Moving all LOTR from there to here would be a monumental task and isn't something that we're considering right now. Sorry.

    Blondie-wan- that description rewrite hasn't been forgotten. It's been discussed and hope we make progress on that soon. This and Special Themes have the hardest time making a concise listing of themes since we have so many. Any future banner will be worked on by our admin in charge of such things. He's been busy lately and creating a graphic like that can take some time. I hope that his schedule can free up enough to get this done soon. And I'll keep pestering him about it, rest assured. As for what may be included, it probably will be restricted to themes that are covered in this forum, so no Star Wars or POTC people. Cloney and I can work on that when we get the time. I'll try to make it more of a priority.

    Now here is a thread for you guys to suggest ways to make things more organized or better in general around here. I'll try to keep an index of the suggestions in this first post along with a reply to the suggestion so that people can see what has already been posted and why it might not possible to implement or if we're working on implementing it. Separating SH Discussion into DC and Marvel threads- I'm currently thinking about this. I do think that a lot of the news that we get will be about both together as in the past. And it seems like we'd duplicate a fair amount of discussion. A New Banner- This is something I've wanted for a while. I'm in talks with the people responsible for such things. I hope we'll get it soon.

    Since this auction has ended and for some reason the spambots are flocking to this topic like ants to a picnic, I'm going to close this and hope the spambots go away.

    There's no need to go off-topic when a spambot invades. Just report it and a staff member will deal with it. The new-member filters and precautions the admins have set up prevent most of the spamming, but spambots are constantly improving and there are times when a few get through. It takes about 5 seconds for a staff member to get rid of them when this happens. We just need to be made aware of them with a report.
