    Please stop with this kind of behavior. It's not helpful to anyone. And Oky, you know where the report button is. Since this thread is specifically about sharing ideas reusing parts from the Simpsons figures, I think it has enough merit to stay open. I think the short sleeves and new short legs are infinitely reusable in town settings. I'm also really looking forward to representing my youngest daughter in minifig form using Maggie's torso.

    Okay, no movie discussion here unless it's relevant to the sets. And even then, do not post spoilers in this thread. I, for one, intentionally avoid reading the Culture and Multimedia threads so as not to see spoilers. If they cross over into these threads, I'll take action. I'm removing all the posts that had to do with that now. So everyone can move on. To repeat, in case someone is just skimming the thread: DO NOT POST SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD.

    Basically a pixel to stud conversion of Raccoon Suit Mario (My 5-year-old daughter calls it his "Tigger Suit"). I have a presentation at a local libraray this week and I thought introducing the kids to mosaics might be a good activity considering all the library has is basic bricks. Then I realized that I'd never done one myself and thought I had to remedy that. I needed to show an example after all, right? I have a great fondness for Super Mario 3. It was one of the first games that I ever beat on my own and I remember several snow days where my sisters and I had marathon gaming sessions. I still play it on occasion on my old NES when a fit of nostalgia takes me. It holds up surprisingly well.

You've been warned about this kind of behavior before and if you do it again, you'll be gone. Understood? For the very last time, if you encounter a member behaving badly, report it. It is not your job to deal with it, it is mine. This petty bickering has to end.

    I received a report about this thread. Is the issue that this person posted photos implying that this MOC was his? I'd like to clear this up. We do not tolerate plagiarism. LegoLiam, I'd like you to post a link to your flickr here to prove that you have, in fact, removed the photos as requested.

    Vivrajar, If you'd like to have a discussion about my abilities as a moderator, please contact me privately. I will say publicly that this is a no-win scenario. I tell people to remain on topic, people accuse me of stifling conversation. I let conversation go, I get accused of not doing my job. I thought I was finding middle ground. If anyone doesn't feel that way, we have a report button and we have a PM system. Use them.

    Swifty, please stop mini-modding. I know my activity has been sporadic today, just report things if they bother you. I appreciate the talk of the shows and what we might expect Lego-wise from their content. Let's just not wander too far. I don't think anyone really has.

    It's normally shortly before they're due to come out that they're sent to him and he works really quickly to review them before they are widely released. As far as I know, he hasn't gotten these yet and he normally tells the rest of staff when he does.
