  1. I like the Karai set from the picture we have. I don't know anything about the character (Was she in the 80s cartoon?) but the figure looks promising. A new hair mold is always welcome. Is it also the first time that motorcycle is in black? Leo looks battle damaged, too. Neat. Spiderbytes seems accurate to the show but I didn't like him all that well there either. I'd actually be more interested in how Vick looks and if he could be used to make other characters. I haven't seen far enough into the new show to see the T-Rawket. The set doesn't excite me, though. Not a fan of how Leatherhead looks. He wasn't my favorite character from the old cartoon, so he's not exactly high on the priority list for me. The sub itself is very nice looking. Really, I knew it would take something more than this for me to get interested in a further wave after getting all four turtles last year. I"m sure the target audience will be all over these, though. They look like they'd really appeal to kids who would otherwise buy action figures.
  2. Member just2good has found pictures of the TMNT sets based on the cartooon on DVD Mart's website! ! Check it out in Licensed!
  3. I need to start stretching before playing the Wii.

  4. You need to stop this off topic conversation now. Thank you.
  5. Still too big for a friends bow or a plume, as well? Probably a molding reason then. I don't know if a little hole makes a piece like that any safer. Could have more to do with suction when trying to get the head off the neck.
  6. I agree with Spider-man that the bracket looks trans. Even if that wasn't apparent, Red chroming the wings doesn't make a lot of sense for a regular set, even though it would be tremendously awesome. As for the hair, the old part on the left hairpiece would look better even if it wasn't any more accurate. I think a true buzz cut would be hard for TLG to do without making a really thin piece that would be prone to breakage. I'm not sure even a rubbery one would work any better in that situation.
  7. If it's the size of a peg, they might give marge a hair accessory in the CMFs. I can't think of an episode where she had something in her hair there but I haven't watched regularly for quite a few years now.
  8. It's a bit early for this thread. We have no information about this year except that TLG is pushing whatever they had back to coincide with the movie and designing a new wave in it's place. And that information is already being discussed in the 2014 thread.
  9. The quality of off site reviews is off topic. Please discuss the sets themselves.
  10. This has been and can be discussed in the Simpsons 2014 thread.
  11. The price differences between countries is a seperate topic. If you'd like to discuss it further in length, you can find a previous thread about it. I'd link it for you but I'm on my phone.
  12. I don't see what possible problem TLG would have with Beast. In fact, he might not even need any new moulds if they recolored the elf/werewolf hair. He'd be easier to make than Juggernaut, I'd think. And he'll be appearing in the movie, which makes him much more likely to appear in the set if TLG wants to capitalize on character recognition.
  13. I think the issue wasn't so much that he's a bit funny looking if you think about it, I think it was a matter of trying to explain what he is to a movie audience. A giant man that destroys worlds causes more disbelief than a sentient cloud that would do the same thing. Shows like Star Trek paved the way for this kind of thinking. Personally, I'm fond of the F4 movies. All the actors but Alba were good in it and it wasn't treated very seriously. Not every super hero movie has to be NolanMan or the Watchmen. Fun movies are seriously underrated sometimes. Going back to the topic, I do hope that we get Galactus in Lego form someday, especially since we already have a good Doctor Doom. I do think they would brick build him rather than make a giant minifigure. I'm sure that was easier for the video game to render but I don't think TLG would invest in the large mold just for him. I'm pretty sure the alarm clocks are actually produced by another company for Lego so they wouldn't already have such molds.
  14. Yes, I think it's better to look where the shoulders are for a good estimation of height. It should be at least a plate shorter than a minifigure with short legs based on just2good's picture.
  15. I don't feel like the tiara is the important part for Storm. She doesn't have it in any of the movies, so most kids wouldn't know any better. I'm just happy we'll get a black female face, not only for Storm but for making other black female characters. As for who else could be in the set, I think Cyclops would be most likely. If not him, I'd say Beast could fly the Blackbird and I'd almost like him more. Personally, I'd love a Shadowcat, but since she likely won't have as large a role in the movie as she did in the comic story arc and she can't fly (Can she even pilot the jet?), I'd say chances are slim to none of her being in the set.
  16. Spam happens. Let's not let a little spam derail a perfectly good topic.
  17. Please don't post confidential pictures, even if after a better non-confidential one comes out.
  18. I assume that is in reference to the spam I just deleted. A spambot won't read your response, report it instead.
  19. Just bought a Wii. My daughter just kicked my butt and I think I pulled a muscle.

  20. BrickRally, I am moving your post to the "Future Superhero Set Ideas" thread. It better fits the discussion there. Just letting you know.
  21. I think this would consist of the same list that most people would write in the "What Superhero would you like to see" thread. So I'm going to lock this one.
  22. Sorry, Rick. You and DarkDragon are the ones I feel the worst about letting down. Just when I was thinking about doubting Hinck, he handed over fhomess. It put me in a bad situation. What choice did we have but to test the investigation result? It was a good move for the scum. Was the pushing against LegoDad that fhomess did in thread all planned to make me agree that fhomess needed investigated when Hinck suggested it?
  23. DC Duplo isn't a bad move for TLG at all. The age group of Duplo has a surprising amount of DC merch being sold already. A Duplo line would fit in with their marketing really well. Plus I bet they're all super cute. Bobskink already proved a while back how nice Batman could look as Duplo.
  24. This must be the squabbling you owed me. Love you, too, def.
  25. Wow. That's spot on for accuracy. It looks really nice. It'll be out of my price range, sadly, but it looks like the designers really did well with it.
