    It's a good inexpensive way if you have many AA battery boxes sitting around doing nothing. The on/off switch is useful for controlling the direction of the motors. Also you still have the fuse protection. Although it does involve drilling and cutting the plastic on the box.

    Being in a LUG that prefers new MOCs for events can be good motivation to build. Inspiration can come from anything and anywhere.

    I used to take my sigfig with me and take pictures of him visiting places. I suppose you can take any set that fits into your luggage. You can build and disassemble it before coming back from vacation.
