  1. Congratulations to the winners.
  2. I have a $40 Creative Labs Vado HD 4GB 720p video camera and here's a video shot hand held. I also have an old Fujifilm F40fd camera that does 640x480 video. Here is a hand held video.
  3. I do both. For the sets I don't have emotional desire to keep assembled for display any longer, I part them out for MOCs. Ones I really like, I keep on display for a long time. I can accept Christmas presents too.
  4. My 6382 Fire Station came with these extra pieces when I bought the set in the early 1980s. They're my oldest odd pieces.
  5. What quality of video are you looking to produce? Is your computer powerful enough to handle the editing of the video? What is your budget? The link for the Polarold camera doesn't show the spec for the minimum focus distance or macro/close up modes. That could be important for close up shots of your MOCs.
  6. Thanks for the great review.
  7. The clear balls came from the Lego Bauble sets such as http://shop.lego.com/en-CA/Holiday-Ornament-with-Gold-Bricks-853345?fromListing=listing You can find them online at Lego Shop@Home or local Lego Store.
  8. The little buzz droid in the vulture droid set is cute.
  9. Used to watch Thunderbirds and UFO after school. Space 1999 was on in the evening. I had a Space 1999 Eagle plastic model kit.
  10. Nice bug. Thanks for sharing the lxf file. Here it is rendered with POV-Ray.
  11. Good work. Nice looking depot.
  12. Cool project. Can it also control switches and other devices on the layout?
  13. Or a 4x4 turntable. I replaced my 2x2 turntable with 4x4 as they have a bit more clutch power. Actually you can use the 4x4 round plate with the hole. The bogie plate with the pin fits right in the plate's hole.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks, Jan.
  15. Be careful of what you say. You never know what could end up being your title.
  16. Impressive but scary to see so many Blue Coats. Wish I was there.
  17. It's worth the effort to render the LDD with LDD2POV + POV-RAY. (Took 90 minutes on my laptop.) The LDD screen shot feature is not good looking when compared to the rendered image. I couldn't find the Lego bauble part or ribbon in LDD to make my EB Xmas Raffle contest entry. So yay for local Lego store and physical pieces. ldd vs render vs photo by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  18. Welcome to EB.
  19. Nice layout. Good integration with Creator sets. Funny, I was thinking a Friends train to run through the town too.
  20. Actually you do have a tag, it is the mitgarida shield.
  21. Thank you for the kind words. It was fun digging out the Power Miners pieces in the big mess that was my son's collection.
  22. I would like a tag assuming there is room to add another tag.
  23. Is the grey 2x2 round tile like piece that the water cannon is connected to a new piece?
  24. Are you refering to these wheels? http://www.bricklink...Item.asp?P=2927
