  1. Welcome aboard, Electrodiva.
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks. Minecraft isn't bad. We used to have a server running in the basement. Which part of Ontario are you from?
  3. Welcome aboard, Alfredo.
  4. The engine's front bogie looked like it could be replaced with a 9V train motor.
  5. Thank you for the great review. It seems like you may have to schedule your summer vacation time to review sets next year. I think this is also a good set for implement MODs. Since it is not as big as the Unimog, they might be easier to make.
  6. With 3 wheels at once cast, something like a 4-6-6-4 Challenger could be an efficient use of the mold. One can only dream or MOC? I think this is Creator Expert along the lines of how Winter Village is labeled Creator Expert.
  7. I think it is a nice addition to a Winter Village sets display. Color and style fit in. A 4-2-0 engine isn't too big to make the other WV sets look undersized. It looks like it could be making the micro train go around the Christmas tree.
  8. Maybe Pioneer steam engine inspired? It's 4-2-0.
  9. You can check the motor by removing it from the model and running it without any load. If it can run for several minutes, then it is probably fine. You also can turn the axle where the motor was connected by hand and feel for friction.
  10. Care have to be taken to avoid breaking the plastic on the M-motor housing. There is prying involved which also can have a risk of stabbing yourself with a small screwdriver. The bushings are thin metal that aren't hard to squish or bend out of shape.
  11. Would a walking BWE like the UNEX KU800 be an interesting MOD?
  12. Having only the two power wires in the USB cable is safer for connecting your devices to public or unknown USB charging stations. Less chance for your device to leak out data.
  13. Including tracks means it is easy to throw the set under the Christmas tree for any family who doesn't already have LEGO train tracks. And maybe add some Winter Village sets to complete the holiday look.
  14. Does it come motorized? Although it looks like it not hard to add a PF train motor and battery box.
  15. It is more space efficient if you keep them in the boxes.
  16. Don't seem much different than the real thing scooping up hard material at grade. Pick up may be better against a wall. Anybody tried GBC soccer balls yet?
  17. ABBA the Movie (1977). Music was good, storyline of a DJ trying to get an interview with ABBA was not so good.
  18. PF motor maintenance time. GBCs can be very hard on your PF components. One of my M-motor like there's no tomorrow. I took it apart and cleaned the commutator and bushings. That seems to have helped to quiet it down. Not sure why? I can't seem to find your Frozen modules on your YouTube or Brickshelf. Are they ready for public display? EB titles usually happen when you least expect it. Some times it is not the title you wanted. Asking for a title don't work. I wonder if filmed singing Let It Go at a GBC event would help.
  19. Looks like you'd need an Olympic sized budget to get those Halfire rings. Nice. Maybe a Frozen GBC for next time.
  20. Nice mods. There is a thread for MODs and improvements -> http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=138069
  21. JAWS 3. It's worse than Malibu Shark Attack...
  22. Being a train guy, I would pick BWE over Porsche. BWE can be used to load a string of hopper train cars on a LEGO train layout.
  23. Nice vignette. The girl on the bicycle reminds me of the guy whose eyes were on his cell and nearly ran me over last weekend.
