SBB CFF FFS RE 460-084 Hi everyone, inspired by the work made by Bauer Bauer Flickr RE 460 I can finally show you my replica of this Swiss locomotive As usual I added lights to distinguish my model. The idea came looking at the convoys passing the nearby station in Chiasso Bye My next project will concern three new German locomotives ... an electric, a diesel and a steam model ...stay tuned!

Another top notch work Tony! ...and 9 studs wide is crazy! Nice to see that you've finally put motors in the boiler. Is this solution better (and faster) than your locomotives with motorized tender? -
Nice work and original design for those buffers!
-
You're always too kind Tenderlok but I know that you play in a different league ...when you talk about elaborate details I just think to your locomotives

The service station looks better with taht large baseplate! -
Thanks Sergio & Elos, the lego geometry is just a standard to respect but in my large layout I'll prefer large radius curves to avoid this hilarious situation! You're right, every my locomotives and wagons must pass this test ...this is the real challenge! The yard locomotive is sold by blokbricks ...and I agree: it's a great model
-
The wheels are so many ...and it's amazing see all of them turning around on the train switches!
-
Thanks Gioppa, but you already have your torpedo wagon!
-
Hi everyone, waiting to release the my next locomotive I've taken a break to make a replica of this fascinating wagon found on Lego Ideas (Torpedo Wagon by Stephanix): the torpedo wagon. A torpedo wagon is one of the largest and heaviest cargo wagons in the world (and It is definitely my longest car ); it is used to transport hot liquid iron to the foundry where the liquid iron is poured in to molds. The torpedo wagon has a load capacity of 160 ton ...and I simply love this lego model! Inside the cabin I've inserted a mechanism with a worm gear to tilt the torpedo See you soon...
