  1. Its working well, almost looks like its running on water. Another way to do it would be to have 4 free moving wheels like a supermarket trolley and one wheel or wheel rim that drives and steers.
  2. Bluerender is excellent for adding lights to a model, its tricky though as you have to unpack the lfx file to get the coordinates, is there an easy way to make transparent bricks glow with maybe a janino shader?
  3. Very good piece of software, easy to use and produces great results. Example The only gripe I have is the auto build should maybe have a off setting, its much easier from me to pull parts off the complete model than go hunting for them, btw is there a way to consolidate all parts in one action?
  4. When I hit a slump then its time to take few extra prescription tramodol, it stops me getting bored and that's all it takes to finish a wip. However my creations turn out to be a little weird so its not for everyone. Cannabis is available legally in America so that would work too, I reckon the EU will be next to legalise it.
  5. I've known xl motors on normal power to grind axles into dust so I can only imagine what buwizz does to lego parts, then again those parts are all replaceable and cheap so why not if you like fast stuff. BTW. Are you wearing Dr. Martins boots? :D
  6. Is there a good guide to sunflow commands with good working examples? Google is not finding much because half the results are sunflow electric heaters.
  7. Nice job, maybe running the model on rims on a smooth floor would make it act like a real boat?
  8. Has anyone experimented with lights? First I thought maybe its possible to make a shader to do this to turn a whole object into a light but there is no such thing lol, then I tried adding point lights and sphere lights from coordinates in the lfx files, not very good results as I'm pretty new to bluerender.
  9. I've always said lego should sell madoca's sets, you can't tell me they wouldn't fly off the shelves like hot cakes.
  10. Outstanding as always, clean and proficient, but can it climb 45 degrees? The 41999 can but needs the winch...
  11. Billy the Skid is a C model of set 9398, you can add him if you like. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=136386&hl=
  12. I was about 9 when that set came out, brings back memories of my old 854.
  13. Thx, Added some instructions on first post.
  14. There have been a few small fun vehicles around lately so I had a go at one, not sure what it is but it has a face and skid steers hence the name, powered by 2 L-Motors with drive to all 4 wheels. LFX File Features: 100% made from set 9398 Smiley Face He's your plastic pal Non vehicular (not a vehicle) Instructions: Page 1, Page 2. Page 3 Thanks to bluerender and bluprint.
  15. That I am, it has similarities to the lotus 49 because they bolted everything to the engine instead of making a frame. PS. I think people wanted a video to see how it runs, I think you would get more replies.
  16. Nice little runabout, nippy and quick, perfect for indoor or the garden. PS. The L-Motor and Servo are now available for LDD, they are hidden away in the LDD extended theme and you have to colour them manually.
  17. Very nice app indeed, very pleased with results.
  18. The maximum I would spend on this is £140, but then again I only buy sets that are 100% PF, having to push cars around yourself is fred flintstone technology.
  19. I like this because its using the battery box and steering servo as part of the structure, reminds me of jim clarks lotus 49 F1 car, good job.
  20. 8043, because its fully rc functional, motorised and very clever. For a time lego got it right with the 8043 and 9398/41999.
  21. Nearly 50% of price is for the porshce name I reckon, awful colour, no PF.
  22. The expense and dodgy mechanics mechanics have put me off forever. If they sold madoca's suv or buggies I would hand over my cash in a instant, lego don't seem to know what people want.
  23. The best tacked vehicle I've seen is Trax, there are links to a ldd file from the video, there are posts on this forum about Trax but the search only goes so far back.
