  1. [bUMP] Yiharua posted this of this 295-piece "Lego GBC [Great Ball Contraption] Ball Pump -- Building Instructions available. DOWNLOAD IT HERE (LDD file): http://www.hispalug.com/foro/index.ph... http://yiharuablog.wordpress.com/2013... - Hi all! Do you remember the Lego GBC ball pump version 2 that I published last September? Well, I have great news for you. It now has instructions available to download for free. My version of the famous Philo´s Lego Ball Pump (Improved) can be at your home now. Enjoy with it! This Lego GBC Ball Pump video was created and uploadded to Youtube on the 17th of February of 2013. The article on my blog: http://yiharuablog.wordpress.com/2013... 2. AnonymousLegoFiend posted this well-produced of 1988's classic Lego Technic set, the 8865 Test Car. The video is a "A FULL REVIEW of this amazing classic!V4 Engine, Adjustable Seats, 3 Speed Gearbox, Pop up headlights and independent suspension -Detailed explanation of gear transmissions"
  3. [bUMP] Fredrik Gløckner posted this of a "LEGO Technic Helicopter Rotor with Cyclic Pitch Control". More info: http://lego-technique.blogspot.no/ .
  4. The Lego Group should hire one of the Technic AFOLs to inspect (ahem) guard their sets being shown at the Toy Fairs!
  5. @ Rishab N: Yes, the yellow panel in front of the fake engine looks a bit crooked -- maybe somebody did not assemble it correctly. @ skylinedan: Yes, the 42009 Mobile Crane MkII has a Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of USD $219.99. We could see the card clearly on the recent videos posted on this topic. I'm not sure what you mean by the "funny black pieces", however.
  6. @ lotusman: The PDF Parts List that Blakbird prepared for Andrea Grazi's 5571 Tow Truck contains ALL of the parts needed, not just the "additonal" parts missing from the 5571 Giant Truck set. One could use the Bricklink Parts Inventory or the Rebrickable Parts Inventory for the 5571, and compare the two lists.
  7. Nice MOC! It reminds me of the "Munster Koach" from 1960s hit TV series, "The Munsters" (created by the famous customizer, George Barris, who also made the original Batmobile):
  8. @ Carsten Svendsen: Can you get a picture of you holding your Lego Antonov-140? It's hard to appreciate its size by just looking at it on a table....
  9. @ Zblj: Thanks again for sharing your LDD file! The bare chassis will allow AFOLs & TFOLs to design their own body shell, and the Unimog wheels will allow those without the Lime Green Lego RC wheels to play with your model. There are other possible tires to put on the Lego 44772 wheels, for the "Chassis with 4 XL Motors" to take greater advantage of its climbing ability:
  10. With Blakbird's permission, I have posted his PDF Building Instructions for Andrea Grazi's Lego Technic Tow Truck on SkyDrive here (66.3 MB). His PDF Parts List is here (1 MB). Thanks for sharing them, Blakbird!
  11. Hah! I like how the Titan is pulling that Hyundai car! It sure does well in the snow, and those Lego tires have a lot of grip. You know what I'm going to ask next -- do you have plans to make Lego Digital Designer (LDD) building instructions for it? I know that those wheels are rare, and that the hubs fit inside them.
  12. @ Fresko: Welcome to Eurobricks! Your truck above is impressive. I was actually looking at your Brickshelf gallery earlier today to download the LDD Building Instructions for your "Race and Drift Buggy":
  13. @ Carsten Svendsen: Your Lego Technic airplane is magnificent! Is your door wheel mechanism meant to lift the entire front end of the aircraft upwards? Zblj's Dump Truck Linkage can handle up to 3 kg. In regards to the Lego Clutch Gears, Sariel noted that Jetro discovered there were actually three different types (scroll halfway down Sariel's Gears Tutorial webpage): "From left to right, these are: - version that came with the 8479 set, it has a light gray center and require more torque to slip - version that is most commonly used, with dark gray center - version from an unknown set(s), with smooth sides (no clutch power indications)"
  14. Here is a of ThrillCentral's virtual movie of the real Mondial WindSeeker (at Knotts Berry Farm in southern California USA). "WindSeeker...features 32, 2-person gondolas that... ascends to a height of 301 feet [91.7 meters]. Once it has reached the top of the tower, WindSeeker...spreads its metal arms swinging riders for a 60 second flight at a 45 degree angle at a speed of 8 rotations per minute." :
  15. On his Brickshelf gallery, duckjock / Duck is showing great progress in "Testing the function of the vertical drive for a LEGO model of a Mondial WindSeeker. This short tower is only 3 sections high, to check the drive and balance of the winch. The finished tower will stand 15 sections high (192 cm). The grey battery boxes simulate the mass of the unbuilt chairs (70 seats on 35 arms)." It uses a big x784 Lego Hailfire Droid wheel to twirl the seats around. ( ) ( )
  16. On his Brickshelf gallery, changxinwu "reversed engineered" the 2H2013 Lego Technic 42008 Service Truck set, and modeled it using SR 3D Builder software:
  17. @ laix: Nice find! Here's another of Jacques27's model, showing a sideways dumping action:
  18. Technicmad (Nathan Thom) just posted this Rebrickable Blog news about "Multiple Set Lists": "I have enhanced the way set management works on Rebrickable. Previously you had a single Set List with all of your sets. Now you can have multiple Set Lists to further split up your sets. Set Lists "What is a Set List? It is simply a collection of sets (and can include MOCs) that you want to logically group together. You will have a default Set List created for you if you have never added any sets before, with the name “My First Set List”. "Each Set List can be separately configured to be included in the Build calculations. This enables things like: Keeping other family members’ sets in a separate list Keeping a separate list of sets you don’t wish to break apart to rebuild other sets "So now you can add all the sets in your collection even if you don’t intend on reusing their parts. This feature is also a stepping stone towards some other features I am planning – such as creating an exclusion list of parts from a MOC you have built and want to keep together for a while. "To create a new Set List, click the “Add a Set List” button from the My RB > My Sets page. The new Set List will load and you can change its description and build type. You can then import or add your sets directly into this Set List. To import into a different list, simply click on it on the top list. Importing "When you import your sets from e.g. Brickset, any new sets will be added to the Set List you currently have selected. However, if you already have some of those sets in any of your Set Lists it will not be counted twice. This allows you to repeatedly import your sets without worrying about creating duplicates. If you import your sets via the API function /api/set_user_sets, for example from the Brickset page, it will do the same checks but any new sets are always added to your first Set List. Exporting "Similarly, when you export your sets it will only export the sets in your currently selected Set List. If you are using the API function /api/get_user_sets it will combine all sets from all Set Lists in a single export. Moving Sets "You can remove sets by hovering over them and clicking the X to delete that set (all copies of them if there are more than one in that Set List). Sorry iPad users – this doesn’t work on touch screen devices. "To move a set from one set list to another, you can simply drag it onto a new Set List. Once you start to drag the set, a popup will appear with your Set Lists so you can drop it on one of them. This avoids any scrolling which doesn’t work too well with drag’n'drop in browsers."
  19. Hmm, the box art does not show any stickers, yet the Bricklink Inventory shows them. There is currently one 1237 sticker set available on Bricklink. Robotshop.com has this image of another toymaker's Asimo model, with stickers: Gizmodo.com has this image:
  20. Below is a LDD2PovRay render of this BIG seasonal item! Check out the Lego Easter Egg Building Instructions -- 12 inches (30 cm) high with hollow center. Build this hollow (but strong) Lego Easter Egg using the PDF instructions available on SkyDrive. See the Parts List and Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf Building Instruction file . Change the individual layer colors to suit your taste.
  21. Well, the problem is, many of those colors don't exist for many real Lego Technic parts. If one just wanted to make a VIRTUAL model, one could "paint" it whatever color you wanted. Or, one could SPRAY PAINT the offending parts....
  22. Nice job on that unusual front door hinge!
  23. @ Pvdb: We cannot yet see your Brickshelf pictures because they have not been "made public" (moderated). So far, only YOU can see those pictures. However, you could "Deeplink" your pictures by using these procedures, so we may see them now. On the weekends, new Brickshelf pictures may take 2-3 days for the moderator to ""make public." You could post them on Flickr (with the first 200 pictures free of charge), and people can see them immediately. To post a picture on Eurobricks, you will be using the "image" icon on your "Reply to this topic" window. It's on the second row of icons, just below the "smiley face". I'm not sure whether newcomers like yourself (with less than 10 Eurobricks posts) can post pictures, so BEFORE you reply to THIS topic, get 3 more Eurobricks posts somewhere by replying to other posts. You can say "Good job!" or whatever to a few creations, then come back to this topic with > 10 posts.
  24. @ matthewclso: Yes, I got your e-mail. Check your e-mail for my reply. P.S. When newcomers like you have 10-or-more posts on Eurobricks, you can send Eurobricks Private Messages (PMs) to other Eurobricks users. Back-and-forth banter like we've had above is not that interesting for others to follow, but we are forced to do so in this case....
