I think a seperate topic regarding color coding would be in order. Having seen the photos of the new Porsche I think they really took it too far... But on the other hand I understand them because they are trying to appeal to as wide of an audience as possible and that includes the people who just don't have the attention span or skills to differentiate bricks by shape alone.

Like I noticed and wrote before TLG has been redesigning a lot of parts which have pins, removing the ability to pass bars, etc. I think the reason behind this change is not functional but to differentiate them from the other brands of compatible products.- 5,504 replies

Oof, this topic sure took off, though I'm not sure if in the proper direction. Anyway, you WILL NEVER be able to please everyone. On one hand you have experienced builders who don't need color coding, can put together complex asemblies, gearboxes, etc with ease and will critisize TLG when a set has been too simplified/gutted/color coded (BLUE PINS EWWW) On the other hand you have people creating WHY DOESN'T MY VOLVO WORK or MY WHEELS SPIN IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS topics - I think that summarizes their building skills. TLG has to somehow cater to both extremes which is why there have to be sacrifes on both fronts. Another way I think they are also solving this issue is simply by releasing more sets where you can distinctly see the target audience - Pullbacks vs 42115 for example. Having said that, they need to fix their 18+ marketing, cause currently it's very messy - looking at you 42125. Why are you 18+? You have no gearbox, no motors, no complex mechanisms, are they afraid kids will break the rather subpar and flimsy model?

No, the M motor is a dumb motor without any position sensors. -
Not a fan of this idea, we have enough division in the current times as it is. Also: EURObricks Local: Lego fans living in US, Canada, UK (Includes England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), Australia, and New Zealand HUH?

The 1L axle with ball joint doesn't fit in the system, it's slightly sticking out too much. Personally I'd prefer fixed, integrated ball joints, since the normal pins with ball joints always tend to slide out and have to be reinforced with 5L half beams.- 5,504 replies

They can as long as the ballpins are already integrated in the hub - just like the geared hub.- 5,504 replies

I can't answer this question, I'm not the maketing guy. But I'm sure something can be arranged with enough interest.- 30 replies

Thanks for the praise, I personally put a lot of effort in this idea. Yes, we will update the photos on the website once we get the final production pieces and 3D models.- 30 replies

You can find a sneak preview od the 3D printed sample on our IG: https://www.instagram.com/p/CLAKIt3B0PG/ Performance is around 10% faster RPM and torque compared to the 5292 motor (cca 20% more power). The polyfuse protection will be increased from 0,9 A to around 1,35 A - still testing the balance between performance and longetivity. Improved attachment possiblities, everything fits as it should in the studless building system The final version color will be between LGB and DBG. It will come with a 30 cm long PF cable plug, so it's compatible with BuWizz 2.0 and PF. Preorder here: https://buwizz.com/shop/buwizz-motor/ More info when it becomes available.
