  1. Let's try to keep the discussion on Mercedes.
  2. Thanks. But as you know, we are free to bump any topic we want, as long we have something important to add.
  3. @CONCEPTBRICK Please re-read the site rules. - Do not bump old posts. - Do not to post the same thing you have already posted in a few other posts, it is considered spamming. - Do not upload pictures directly to EB. I have hidden your other posts which advertises the product.
  4. Topic has been merged with the main Technicopedia topic. Technicopedia, luckily, is still up and running. And again, thanks to Blakbird for all of his generous work on it.
  5. If you could make some "eye candy" front cover, send it via PM or post it here, so we can do some promotion on our end.
  6. Great and ambitious start. Reminds me on @nicjasno's builds. Your video link has been fixed, now it is visible.
  7. The topic has been renamed. We can keep this topic for discussion, speculation, and wishes. When we get confirmed information about the sets, we can open a proper 2025 sets topic.
  8. Great presentation. Frontpaged.
  9. Yes, the cabin is incredibly well done. I find the cabins on the older Soviet trucks, especially on the MAZ, ZIL, ZIS, and Ural, to be very unique and recognizable. I like that it seems as if they have personality and expressiveness, and you captured it perfectly
  10. Beautiful model. Especially with all those tricky shapes captured masterfully with bricks.
  11. Hello and welcome to EB. Glad you are enjoying the place, but please take some time and read site guidelines. One of the man requirements is that we use English. It does not have to perfect, but it has to be English.
  12. @Nikegoga Not one of your image or video is shown properly. You need to understand the rules of the forum, and how to upload images and videos. You can read about it in the site guidelines, but I will make a short note here, nevertheless. You cannot upload images directly to EB. Use an image hosting site (Flickr, Bricksafe) to upload them, then paste the links here. Same for the videos, as of right now they are all set to private. Thanks for showing your model, it looks really good, but please try to present it according to the rules, and also try add more text about it. You will get much more interactions that way.
  13. I believe we used to allow disassembling the shock absorber, so yes. Focus should be on the vehicle itself. Let's agree on this when Jim is back.
  14. Yes, I know, you wrote it in the opening post, and that's the model I used as a starting point for calculating the scaled length. Correct scale is not important for this competition, I merely wanted to help clear up the calculations.
  15. Please re-read the rules. You need to show actual progress in order to open your discussion topic. You need to make it non-branded. Keep building it as is, it can be inspired by a brand, just don't make it an exact copy. We want to see original ideas. Use images that can be shown directly here, without needing to go to other sites. Paste the image link directly here, and the forum will display it, like this: Ford Transit is around 4.5 meters long. When scaled to 1:8, it would be around 55 cm long, or 70 studs long. It may be better to try and scale the model according to the wheels, which, in this case, might be way too small for such a large scale. Looking forward to see the build
  16. Jim will be away for a few days. 1. Wheels need to be used to drive the vehicle. So not as a part of the transmission or other mechanisms. You can use extra wheels for decorative purposes. 2. You can take out the springs.
  17. Do not bump 5 year old topic to ask for instructions. You did the same thing some time ago, and you were asked not to do it.
  18. As long as it is a vehicle, it is allowed! Correct. Only 4 to 6 of the 49.5 x 20 wheels. They need to be 49.5 x 20.
